So much was happening around us. It was still just the middle of the month and my sister was engaged, so were Lyssa and Ashle. Beech had moved out of his condo and gotten a different one with Jared. Ashle had moved into a house in the suburbs with her mate Reggie. Ilana and Darrol were living together. Hell, all the mated couples seemed to be moving on with their lives.

Yes, I was still a little jealous of that fact, but I was getting better about it. There was little that I could do about the situation after all. I would just need to let things happen as they did until fate decided to step in. 

I mean, of our central group, only half of us had mated. And of those of us that had been born in the first wave, that was what we had started to call it because of the mass pregnancies, there were way more not mated than there were mated. So I guess that, in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't taking all that long.
