章節 86: Chapter 86- Ashle – Planning the Halloween Event (VOLUME 1)

The day after the second Unity Project meeting, I decided to get straight to work on things that were going to be happening over the next month. Actually, Halloween is exactly five weeks from today. And that meant that we didn't have a lot of time to waste.

I knew that Reagan and Rika had a lot on their plates at the moment. They were focusing on the investigation and the attacks. And while I felt horrible for Jared and Jonah, I wasn't personally connected to the two of them. I think that was why I felt a little removed from the situation. It wasn't that I wasn't concerned for them, I was, I just didn't feel as personally invested as the others did.

Maybe this disconnection came because I was raised differently than the others were. I had been raised with my mother's Fae beliefs more than the wolf side of my family. And maybe that sense of urgency just wasn't a part of my soul.
