章節 177: Trick 176: On the Domo with a deaf Flash and a kid
Everyone introduced themselves and Ace looked around, humming to himself.
Steve was here! He leaned on the table, smiling "Nice to meet you all. We just had a few questions about this 'Emergence', it's probably for the best if we work together." The new guy, Phastos, looked at him and asked "Didn't you die?"
Steve smiled, "Retired, actually." Sam scoffed "Yeah… Got me good, too." Bucky rolled his eyes, "Man, when are you gonna let that go?" Sam looked at him saying "I just found out he was coming out of retirement today! Give me a break."
Rhodey snorted "Oh what, didn't get enough being Captain Falcon?" Sam looked at him saying "Just Captain America, thanks. How you doin', discount Ironman?" Natasha leaned on a chair with her feet up, saying "Ouuu… Gotta love it."
Rhodey pointed at her, looking at Ace as he said "She's outta control." Ace looked at him, asking "What do you want me to do? I only brought her back to life. I can't control her, come on now…"
Ikaris looked over, asking "Brought her back to life?"
Sersi explained to Steve, who looked at Tony, saying "Bigger than Thanos." Tony rolled his eyes, "Yeah, I can see that." before asking "Wizard!" Bucky corrected "Sorcerer." Tony ignored him, asking "Can you make this go away?"
Ace rolled his eyes and chose to ignore him as Gilgamesh chuckled "Where's Thor? I haven't seen him for a long time?" Tony replied "Off world, of course, just when we need the tub of lard, he's gone."
Steve crossed his arms and frowned, "I think we should find your last member before coming up with a game plan. We need to consider all our options. Also… Sorry for your loss."
The Eternals smiled slightly and nodded, Steve turned and said "Ace, please." Ace muttered "Am I a taxi now?" Tony clapped, "How did you know?!" Natasha chuckled, "Better than an Uber, and free too."
Ace pointed at her saying "Don't make me do it!" She rolled her eyes and raised her hands, saying "Shiver me Timbers…" Ace snorted angrily and his wings wrapped everyone up, asking "Where to?"
Phastos sighed, "Iraq." as everyone disappeared.
A while later
The entire group was looking at a huge spaceship. Tony's eyes sparkled, "Celestial Tech?" Phastos looked at him and snorted "Above yours." Tony looked at him, saying "Sorry, who are you again?"
Steve walked forward, saying "Come on." Bucky took out a magic automatic assault rifle and Ace looked at it, asking "Excuse you?" Bucky smiled, "Power Broker." Ace's lips twitched and he replied "Really…"
As they all walked onto the ship that was called Domo.
They looked around and Steve raised his shield, looking around vigilantly.
Ace walked at the back until the entire group came to a woman sitting on a Throne. Druig smiled "Makkari." Phastos walked out, shouting "My lab! What did you do, Makkari!?"
Makkari looked at everyone in shock, using sign language to say "What the hell? Why so many people?!" Druig replied "Bad guys." Makkari rolled her eyes and Natasha smiled, signing "Hello! I'm Natasha Romanoff."
Makkari smiled happily, "I know you! Avengers!"
Ace looked at Makkari and Sprite, asking "You were created by Celestials, right? One of you is deaf, and the other is a perpetual child?" Sprite looked at him and said "Excuse you!"
Ace looked at her and said "Just saying…" Tony added, "Also, none of you questioned why you're all different with different accents from the same planet? No? Alright…" as he looked around.
Steve let out a breath, saying "Alright, guys. What's our play?"
Phastos moved everything to the side, making a construct in the air as he said "I got something… Just wait a moment for me to finish, make yourselves at home, by all means."
The Avengers looked around and Ace picked up a book, blowing off the dust, saying "Hm? Morgan LeFay's diary?" he opened the book and his hair blew back as inhuman demonic screeching came out of it.
He closed the book and coughed, "Opened it on a bad day…" Makkari took the book from his hands and signed "My stuff!" Ace rolled his eyes and asked "Can I get a translator?"
Natasha walked by, picking up a sword as he said "She said don't touch her stuff." Ace snorted and said "Whatever. Who wants to touch your stuff anyway?" as he put his hands in his pockets, walking away.
Steve picked up a German Nazi pistol and looked at it, sighing before putting it down.
Tony looked at the construct saying "Condensing power to one person? Tricky." Phastos looked at him, saying "You know what I'm doing???" Tony looked at him sarcastically, "Do I look like an idiot? Please."
Steve looked over and asked "English please." Phastos looked at him and explained "So, here's a little Celestial 101. Celestials are the most powerful energy generators in the universe. When Arishem made us, he imbued us with infinite cosmic energy to keep our bodies regenerating."
He pointed at the bracelets, continuing "The Bracelets, in theory, shut down our regeneration process. Once that happens our bodies accumulate extra cosmic energy."
Steve asked "For?"
Phastos looked at him, answering "For- Us to absorb each other's energy. The Deviants can do this, why can't we? If I can find a way to connect us all, one of us could become immensely powerful, pulling the accumulated energy from the rest, forming a Uni-Mind!"
Steve looked at Tony, who touched his chin, saying "It could work. The only problem is…" he turned to Steve, adding, "It won't affect us. This is an Eternals only thing. So basically, we're a contingency plan. Unless the wizard can also make a Unimind-"
Ace looked at a statue, replying "Nope!" Tony clapped his hands, saying "So we're contingency. Great." Steve frowned and turned to Phastos, saying "This Uni-Mind thing, it's based off of energy, right? What if you can make it also take body energy?"
Phastos frowned "Body energy?" Tony snapped his fingers, asking "When did you get so smart, Steve?" before tuning to Phastos, "Our Bodies create energy also, Steve for example generates much more energy than a normal person, even Romanoff has Death Energy in her, I can use my suit to generate energy, etc."
Phastos looked at them, saying "I don't know about this bodily energy. It's more for Cosmic Energy. But If Captain America can generate enough energy to move a mountain then maybe it could work." Steve crossed his arms and said "Actually…"
Tony looked at him in shock as Steve sighed, "I have a different power than Natasha… I can probably lift a mountain…" Tony snapped his fingers, saying "Welcome to the Club. We all can, plus, Pietro can generate enough energy to power a country. Let me help you, Hephestos."
Phastos nodded, "Alright."
Makkari signed "But even if we let Druig become the Uni-Mind, what do we do to the Celestial? Put it to sleep? And then what?" Sersi said "Then we get everyone off of Earth onto a new planet."
Steve frowned, "That's not too good." Sersi sighed "I don't have any other options." Natasha waved "Just kill it?" Everyone fell silent and Kingo said "You realize that Celestials create universes, right? You would be killing countless lives."
Ace corrected "Not really, they wouldn't exist. However, I don't know about killing the Celestial…" Sprite looked at Ikaris and said "You choose, you're the strongest Eternal." Ikaris frowned and walked out of the room, Kingo went after him and everyone stayed silent.
Ace looked at Sersi and asked "What about you?" Sersi hesitated saying "If we can't then we don't have an option… But it's impossible to kill it." Ace frowned and stayed silent, changing the topic "You can transmute things?"
Sersi looked at him as he held a gem, turning it into a rock, then water, and sand. Her eyes lit up and Ace smiled as she walked over talking to him.
Apparently, she couldn't do it to sentient life, which Ace didn't understand. She should be able to. He explained the basics of it to her, creating a bird in his hands, showing her as it turned into a flower, before letting her try.
Time passed as everyone sat around.
