A chuckle ensued as Philosir played with his unruly curls. "Quite a dangerous lesson here, my friend. Some things in Sethia are best left undiscovered, but you're right in the fact that all the exciting secrets huddle in the shadows of the Empire. As it happens, we infames can only dwell in those dark corners." 

"You know a lot, then?" Meilyr reined in his curiosity, speaking in a nonchalant tone.
