Avelina knocked hesitantly on Lyssle's door, her heart thudding in her chest.

Evelyn, Lyla, and Lily silently positioned themselves at the sides of the door, away from the peephole's view, while Lily menacingly placed a hand behind Avelina, warning her to keep quiet about their presence.

Lyssle's voice came through the door, light but laced with curiosity. "Lady Avelina? Is that you?"

Avelina cleared her throat, attempting to keep her voice steady. "Yes, Lyssle. It's me."

Through the peephole, Lyssle could only see Avelina's anxious face. "Miss Avelina, why are you here at this hour?" She asked, sensing something amiss, especially with the change in Avelina's voice.

Avelina hesitated, taking a deep breath. "I need to speak with you urgently."
