Evelyn nodded, unable to meet Luna's eyes. She wasn't ready to tell her everything yet, not until she knew what she wanted to do.

"I'm sorry, Luna. I shouldn't have come here like this," she said, rising to her feet.

"Hey," Luna said, gently lifting Evelyn's chin so she was looking directly at her. "Don't worry about it. You don't have to do anything you don't want to. Just rest, okay?"

"But the classes—" Evelyn tried to argue.

"Screw the classes," Luna interjected sharply, "What's more important right now is you, Evelyn."

Evelyn looked at Luna, her eyes filled with grateful tears. She could only nod in agreement, feeling immensely thankful for having Luna as her friend.

"What would I have done without you?" She asked honestly, her voice shaky, the thought of seeing Tristan and his Espers sending a shiver down her spine. She took a deep breath, steadying herself as she met Luna's gaze. "But I have to try."
