They were currently quite far apart. Nidia was leaning against the cold hard wall, but her body felt as if she were still burning up.

Jackson's words made her cheeks flush red, slowly becoming as hot as lava as her breathing grew rapid.

'I can't look him in the eye...'

Jackson's eyes were charming, their gaze making one's heartbeat faster, turning one's breathing irregular. It was enough to make one's body temperature rise.

Suddenly, she felt some warm liquid flowing out of her lower half. It was her period.

Nidia shifted her body and got down from the end of the bed.

The bedroom was still fairly well lit. Nidia walked to the shelf and opened her laptop case.

The case was a gift from Lily.

Her laptop was light and thin, so there was still room for small items like her makeup bag and her purse.

She opened a pack of pads for night-use, took one out, and headed to the restroom.
