章節 39: How Is That Disgusting?

Nidia noticed the strong scent of alcohol on Jackson. It was strong and pure, yet dangerous.

It didn't smell like the disgusting white wine that she so often noticed on her alcoholic father. It wasn't even similar to any scent of alcohol she had sensed on other men.

Nidia said, "I'll put the eggs in the fridge..." She walked up to the refrigerator in the open-style kitchen. A few bundles of vegetables and fruits were already placed inside, she had bought them online along with her pajamas.

Taking out the carton of eggs carefully out of the bag, she placed it in one of the racks.

Nidia then realized that a box of ice cream was inside of the plastic bag as well.

It was a box of milk popsicles. They were cheap, but very delicious.

'It's not like him for him to buy milk pops...' Nidia turned to the living room and asked the drunk man on the sofa softly, "Do you want some ice cream?"
