They were supposed to find themselves in the restricted area, the vacant void between time and space, where countless stars shimmered above the darkness, forming a vast and inconceivable pattern. There, at the heart of the illusory Impr city, engulfed in black flames.

However, that was not what happened to Ryan.

He had no time to comprehend the consequences of having his very existence pierced by the sword of the holy emperor over and over again, and just when he thought he had gained control back over his consciousness, it collapsed, sending him into a world of darkness.

Instead, still numb from the inconceivable and frightening turn of events, he was thrown out of living in the memories of Astin, entering another, much smaller, but similarly dark space.
