"..." Taking Ryan's silence as a go on gesture, Astin spoke, "Give up on humanity, and we shall keep you, an outsider, alive."

Hearing his words, a strange look appeared on Ryan's face.

Mistaking the look on his face for agreement, Astin nodded. "There is no need for us to fight. We want to avoid any unnecessary bloodshed on our end."

He got to the point: "Give us the humans behind you, the people you are trying to protect. Then we will let you leave here alive. How about it? Do you accept our proposal?"

Instead of an answer, Ryan asked a question: "Let me also ask one thing."

"Very well."

"Who are you people? Where did you come from, and why are you trying to kill humans?"
