"Young Master Samiel..." Zyra'kai's deep voice echoed through the room.

Samiel looked at his shadowy companion and remembered what it told him just a day before Aamon arrived. From what he said, it seems Zyra'kai has already found the chosen, the destined one he has been looking for and waiting for. And he didn't do it just a while ago, but many years ago, on the Awakening Ceremony.

The destined one was none other than Aamon.

Samiel wasn't that surprised Aamon was the destined one. He asked why Zyra'kai didn't tell him back then. Zyra'kai replied that he wanted to check whether Aamon was truly the one he was waiting for and finally realized it. But Samiel knew Zyra'kai might have been reluctant or probably just wanted to repay him more.

"Well, shall we sever the bond then?" Samiel asked his eyes fixed on Kai. Kai was silent for a moment but nodded soon after. 

"Yes..."

Both closed their eyes.
