When Garrison returned to the room, Ana and Rowan were sleeping soundly. Ana's arm was wrapped around his shoulder possessively while Rowan was huddled in her arms like a baby. They looked so carefree and happy in their sleep that Garrison stopped in his tracks and stared at them for a long time.

His lips curled upwards unconsciously. 

"I will wait for you Anastasia. I am sure one day you will hold me like that too." he whispered as took off his shirt and joined the mother and child on the bed.

When Ana tossed on the bed, she felt Rowan had grown taller. His weight had increased too. He felt heavier and her arms were numb while holding him in her arms.

When she moved her hands to shift him, she felt strong muscles and abdomen under her touch and it was scalding hot.
