"How about we wait for his highness. He will be back soon." Ana felt annoyed. Her eyes hardened. She did not want the presence of the cold man around him. 

She would rather go and deal with it.

"That would not be needed! As a duchess I want to handle it myself." The maid looked helpless when she turned to leave but she paused at the door.

Her eyes cracked with shock and anger. Garrison was already standing there. He was leaning on the wall with his head tilted. 

He looked at her with a relaxed attitude.

"Where are you going?" This simple question left her speechless.

"What are you doing here?" standing at her door like a guard. That was not like him.

"I thought you might be changing. So, I was waiting for the maids to leave." 

"....." was he being considerate to her.
