"I would have never thought I'd confide in you, Adrienne. Thank you for listening." Audrey smiled weakly. "You are far from what the other Jiang family members claimed you to be."

Adrienne chuckled. "You should know better than to believe everything you hear. People's opinions can be biased and misleading."

The two women finished their lunch in a comfortable silence. Adrienne felt a sense of gratitude towards Audrey for being so honest with her as they parted ways. On their way back to her penthouse, Noah told his sisters about their young nephew and how he would like to see him again.
