Lennox had been waiting patiently for Adrienne's arrival. He kept checking the time and felt that it was ticking too slow to his liking. Lunchtime was over but it would surely take her another three hours before she could leave school. He felt a little silly waiting for her.

He tried to focus on the book he was reading but he had been stuck on the same page he'd been trying to understand for an hour now. He finally gave up and shut the book, closing his eyes to rest.

Gavin chose to enter his room and found him like this. Lennox roused from his sleep and looked at him. He didn't know how long he'd been asleep.

"I have some good news and bad news for you. Which do you want to hear first?" Gavin didn't waste his time and asked him.

"Does it matter which one you say first?" Lennox raised a brow at his friend-slash-right hand man.

Gavin shrugged and took a seat on the chair next to Lennox's bed. He crossed his legs and clasped his hands together.
