章節 54: A Historical Moment

Aeryon opens his eyes as he seems to be jolted awake

"Hah, hah, hah" his heart racing, beads of sweat cling to his forehead, glistening in the dim light of the room. 

He takes in deep, laboured breaths, trying to steady his racing pulse.

He look around him and for a moment, his vision is blurry. And then as he rubs his eyes he looks around

It is dark and only dim light could be seen in his tent. 

"A tent. Right….I am Aeryon" he muttered to himself like he is confirming it to himself .

"It was a nightmare" he mutters to himself. 

He felt unsettled and uneasy. 

With a shaky hand, Aeryon reaches out to touch his surroundings, seeking reassurance in the familiar objects that surround him. 

He touches the blanket, the bed and takes a deep breath

His eyes scanning the room in search of any signs of danger. But all he sees is the serenity of his own tent, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight.
