章節 36: Half awoken
Myalis's body began glowing green and blue as she felt the energy surging within her body, but in doing so, the pain in some parts of her body only increased.
The girl gnashed her teeth and cleaned her fists as she focused on her body's pressure points, knowing that she had to make sure that they were all fully opened or that would cause harm to her body since it would bother her energy to flow which could even give some people sick.
Myalis took a deep breath and began focusing on her points when she began sensing something different around her but didn't know what it was, she was certain that it was something that she had never sensed before.
'What is this?' She wondered when her eyes opened and she got up from the floor and peeked out her window only to see a blue light coming from Ziza's room.
"What is going on over there?" She asked as she rushed out of her room, heading to the girl's which was not far from her, the others didn't see anything because they were sleeping and it was already late in the night.
Upon arriving at her room, Myalis opened the door and her eyes widened as she saw Ziza was sitting on the bed, half asleep but was crying and there was lightning surrounding her body.
"Ziza," She called out as she entered the room, upon hearing her voice, the girl was fully awoken and her eyes widened as she saw Myalis approaching her and she looked at the lightning surrounding her body.
"Wait, you will get hurt because of me, I will not allow that to happen, I can't let it happen again...." She said, but Myalis was not worried about getting hurt, she just wanted to know why the girl was crying and if something was bothering her.
"Ziza, stop, look at me," She said and the girl glanced at her with her eyes, trembling, Myalis smiled at her before getting onto the bed and pulling the girl into a hug.
"It's fine, I am not going to get hurt, just calm down," Myalis said as she passed her hand on the girl's hair and Zia exhaled deeply before closing her eyes and placing her arms around Myalis.
Myalis smiled as she looked around the room and saw the lightning began to disappear and Ziza's body was returning to its normal form.
"I am sorry to have caused you trouble, master," She said and Myalis sighed before moving off of the girl and Ziza lowered her head.
"Raise your head," Myalis said and Ziza looked at her then Myalis wiped her tears.
"It's fine, you didn't cause me any trouble, if you need to talk about what's making you cry in your sleep, I am here when you are ready, I will protect those around me Ziza, those that I care about, you don't have to worry," Myalis said with a gentle smile on her face and Ziza's eyes widened as she stared at her.
"Thank you," She said and Myalis patted her on her head and the girl's cheeks flushed as she began falling asleep and Myalis saw.
"It's okay, go to sleep, I will stay with you if you want," Myalis said.
"Really?" The girl asked in a sleepy tone as she wrapped her arm tighter around Myalis's waist before laying back on the bed, pulling Myalis to lay beside her.
Myalis chuckled and covered Ziza after the girl fell asleep and a short while after, Myalis fell asleep as well, but her body was in the same state as it was before.
The next morning, when Myalis woke up, she stretched off and saw that Ziza was already awake, she looked at the girl and then smiled before sitting up on the bed.
"Good morning, master," she said and Myalis chuckled.
"Good morning, I have to get ready to go to the academy, you will be coming with me as my caretaker, I cannot leave you behind, you will learn new things as well, is that okay with you?" Myalis asked and Ziza nodded.
"I will do anything you want, you are my master after all and I will be pleased to learn new things, thank you," She responded before bowing her head and Myalis flinched since she was not used to things like that.
"You are welcome, I will go freshen up and please wear one of the dresses I got you," She said and Ziza nodded.
After Myalis left Ziza's room and went to her room to freshen up, Ziza got up and began getting dressed as well since she didn't want to hold back Myalis in any way.
When both of them finished getting dressed, they went to the dining room and greeted the others good morning and they smiled upon seeing them, Ziza wore a long pink dress similar to the one she first got since she was comfortable with it.
"Come on, have breakfast," Lilian said and they both sat down, Calris glanced at Myalis "Are you taking her to the academy with you?" He asked.
"Yes, I am, I will talk to the principal," She responded and Calris smiled.
"All right, but remember once you guys return home later, you have an explanation to give us, did you forget?" Calris asked and Myalis chuckled.
"No, I didn't forget, I remembered perfectly, I will give you both an explanation when we return," She responded and he smiled at her as they ate.
A little while after, when they finished eating, Myalis grabbed her bag and exited the building.
"Master," Ziza called out after Myalis summoned Aster and he appeared before her and then bowed his head.
"What is it?" She asked as the girl approached her.
"The ones you are working for, they are evil, right?" She asked and Myalis came to a halt before lowering her head.
"I don't know, probably, I will handle that later, for now, let's get to the academy, I have to give a reason why I left yesterday without permission as well," She responded and Ziza smiled then got on Aster with Myalis and they took off to the academy.
Myalis knew that Ziza had her own reason for asking her question but even she wondered what was going to happen now that she was a part of their group and what exactly their plan was, little did Myalis know, her life was about to take a wild turn.
