章節 17: Entered the academy
After Myalis began her real training with Calris and the other trainers that were there on the island. She began improving drastically and that was not due to her abilities.
She began to get the hang of using her own abilities as a beast tamer as a result of her hard work and determination, but she had no idea she was unlocking a different part of herself in the process.
A few miserable weeks had passed them training. Myalis was exhausted and knew that she still had much more to learn about her abilities, she knew how to use her beast-taming magic, but had not managed to tame a beast of her choosing as yet.
Despite that, she was ready to emerge into the light as a new version of herself, she was now a completely new person and due to a part of her abilities and the cocoon that she was in, most of her had changed.
On the day of the academy's opening for the entrance ceremony, which all accepted students must attend.
Myalis arrived at the entrance and handed her acceptance letter to the members of the student council who were standing at the gate, after double-checking it.
They smiled at her and handed her a badge, which she collected before entering the academy as an official student whose name was now Seraphina Aradia and her ability was that of a beast tamer.
She was tall, with milky smooth skin, glossy purple galaxy eyes with a dark red lining beneath her iris, long silky dark purple hair, was curvy and had big breasts.
Her hair was down in a bread plait and she wore a short dress-like uniform with a long sleeve coat over it. The uniform was blue and black, with red stripes on the sleeves and gold chains hanging from the pockets, and it flared at the bottom. She accessorized with a long high top, black boots, and black stockings.
The academy was large and had every facility that the students would require due to it being on a massive landscape, they had an arena as well as other training grounds and dorms but they were all in different sections.
The academy was just outside of the city, surrounded by hills and mountains, and not far from a forest. It was the ideal location for any type of tournament or even training, which is why the Emperor chose to build it there.
Myalis entered the auditorium and noticed that all of the students were seated in lines according to the classes they were supposed to be in, and since she was supposed to be a second year and was eighteen years old, she went and sat with the second year students, each line was mixed with males and females, and the student's council members were spread out throughout the area.
While they waited, a few of the teachers and trainers entered the auditorium and took their places on the small stage in front of them, and the headmaster stood by the microphone, and Myalis looked at him as he greeted them, and they all stood up and greeted him before sitting back down.
"I see a lot of new faces; since some of you are new here, allow me to introduce myself; my name is Clyde Yinsan, and I am your headmaster," He said, as some of the students began whispering due to him being one of the youngest headmasters to lead the academy.
The headmaster chuckled and tapped the mic to get their attention and they all looked at him.
"I know what some of you might be thinking because I am only thirty years old, I assure you that I am a capable person and I am in this spot today because I earned it, now I know a lot of you are new not only the first years, you guys do know that this year is going to be a busy one right? Are you willing to give it your all at this academy?" He asked.
"Yes, sir!" They exclaimed, and Myalis chuckled and the headmaster smiled at them.
"Good, I am glad to hear that, a lot of you have great talents, so I am going to tell you a bit about how things work here, you will each be placed in a main classroom and you will be attending classes according to your talents, if you have more than one talent then that's no problems, classes are at different hours for a reason.
"Follow your timetable and there are also clubs for you to join to get stronger, to improve yourself, also those that have only one talent, they won't have to worry, they will be attending the classes needed to improve and will receive normal academic teachings as well, do you understand what I am saying?" He asked.
"Yes, sir," The students responded.
"Good, two things are required for all students, regardless of ability, and those are combat training and normal academic knowledge. Now, all new students had an extra form to fill out that came with your acceptance letter, you had to fill it out with the types of abilities you have, and you all received a badge, correct?" He inquired.
They replied, "Yes, sir," and he smiled.
"Good, now all of the new students should stay here and the rest can go to their respective classes," He said, and the students who were supposed to leave bowed their heads and left, leaving only the new students behind.
The headmaster looked at them and their badges burnt and turned to ashes and Myalis sighed then looked at him.
"Those are just passes, each one of you will go to the classes that you were assigned to, it was written on the second form you had to fill out, once you do so, your teachers will be testing you to see if the abilities that you wrote on the form were the ones you actually have and if you have extra abilities."
"The classes in which you learn about that ability in will be assigned to you, go to your classroom, you will be briefed on what you need to know by your homeroom teachers and will be tested then given the original academy badge, got it?" He asked and they nodded.
"You may leave," He said then they all got up, bowed their heads to him and Myalis left, heading to her classroom, which was at the back building of the academy and was class 2A.
