After the King promised Rei to come over to her place the next morning, he left without even waiting for the cookies to be ready. As soon as the King left, Rei's tears dropped like pearls that are off the line. At the same time, An Er walked into Rei's room with a tray of cookies that are freshly out of the oven, An Er was slightly shocked to see the tears on her lady's face.

"Ah! My Lady, what happened? Why are you crying?" An Er asked, in a concerned tone.

Rei shook her head without saying anything while trying to wipe out her own tears.

"My Lady... Is it because of the King?" An Er asked, who was kind of oblivious to her lady's thoughts and feelings.

Once again, Rei shook her head, and this time, she took a deep breath and successfully stopped her own tears after calming herself down for about ten seconds. Then, she took a piece of the freshly baked tangerine sugar cookies, cooled it down a bit and tasted it.
