As the King was recalling and analysing the whole mutation incident in his head with his eyes closed, he felt a slight pressure at his bedside, as if someone leaned their head on his bedside. Out of curiosity, he opened his eyes and saw Rei who had accidentally fallen asleep due to the exhaustion she had in the day.

The King quietly looked at Rei trying his best not to make any noise that might wake her up, he slowly reached his hand to her face and gently brushes away a few loose strains of her smooth silky long hair from her petite face. Under the moonlight, her beautiful face looks even dreamier than before, with a dash of fragility that will bring up the compassionate heart of the cruellest creature in the world.
