章節 25: Exploring
Since there was no reason for Arthur to continue fighting, he snapped his fingers together and made the ball of fire disappear before turning his attention towards Yosel once again.
"Come on, you can't seriously still want to fight me," said Yosel in an exhausted tone.
"Ya you're right, I'm tired right now. I should probably eat something because someone maybe forgot to feed me over the past 4 months," said Arthur as he placed his hand forward and created 3 pills with contained food that would probably feed an entire country.
"So what do you want me to do now?" Arthur asked after he had ate the pills and looked ready for a new mission so that he could get stronger.
"Well, you should probably take a little break for now, I mean it's been a whole 4 months of straight training. How about we look for equipment for you," said Yosel to which Arthur looked confused.
"Why would I need equipment?" Arthur asked as he didn't see the need to get equipment and simply saw them as scams.
"I mean they help you in battles. They increase how much damage you're able to take and dish out along with how fast you are. I mean without weapons, it's like you didn't have a whole set of limbs like your arms. That's how essential they are to sorcerers," said Yosel before starting to walk around the area as if nothing had happened.
"Follow me," said Yosel as the two began to talk inside the city they were in before shortly stopping in front a sign that was planted in front of a shopping area.
"Look, this is one of the best shopping districts in the entire world. Whatever you need, they'll have it here. So tell me, is there a weapon that you would prefer to use?" Yosel asked as he wanted to know what was Arthur's fighting style.
"I don't know," Arthur replied without bothering to think much about Yosel's question.
"But you've used weapons before right? Surely you must know of a weapon type that you're familiar with," said Yosel in utter confusion as throughout Arthur's nearly 17 years alive, he had never used a single weapon even though he was also inside one of the most prestigious schools in the world.
"I'm serious. I've never used a weapon in my life before. I'm just used to using my hands," said Arthur as he spoke to Yosel.
"What about when you were in school? Even at an early age, they have you practice how to make use of weapons, can't you remember a time when you used that?" Yosel asked to which Arthur shook his head.
"They didn't let me use the school's equipment at all. That's why I lost every single match I had been in since I was in that school. They let my opponents cheat however they forced me to comply with some random rules they made up," Arthur explained.
"Oh right, I forgot about that. Okay then, this is going to take quite a bit of time but I'll allow it since you've grown so much. Look around for as long as you want and try out weapons until you've found your match. Once you've done that, just give it to me and I'll pay," said Yosel before the two of them began to walk through the market in search of the perfect weapon for Arthur.
They walked for what seemed like hours as Arthur looked and tested out all types of equipment. Although there were some that he liked, he didn't inform Yosel of that and simply continued to look as he didn't want Yosel to use his money on Arthur.
This was because Arthur had never had anything bought for him. The only gifts he had received were yearly cloths from the school which were only given to him so that they would do the absolute bare minimum and they usually got the cloths from a dump or some place that no one wanted them from.
As such, Arthur simply didn't want to take anything from Yosel as he would feel too guilty doing so. He didn't feel like he deserved to have a gift given to him.
After walking all day, Arthur let out a sigh before telling Yosel something.
"Hey Yosel, I think I'm done here. I don't like anything that they have here, let's just head back and get back to training," Arthur said as he wanted to leave the market district.
"Are you sure? I mean this place has some of the best artifacts in the entire world yet you didn't even give them a second glance, think about this just one more time before we leave," said Yosel to which Arthur was adamant on leaving however he didn't want to seem ungrateful so he gave the area one more look around to see that all the shops were closing and they were all nearly empty from all the people that came and shopped there however there were still a couple shops still open as they waited to sell their final products.
As Arthur looked around, he saw a boring blade off into the distance however for some reason. It had caught his eye. He was utterly mesmerized by it and simply stood there and stared in awe as he couldn't take his eyes off of it.
"Arthur? Arthur? Are you all right?" said Yosel to which Arthur quickly snapped back to reality so that he could answer to Yosel.
"Have you decided on something you want?" Yosel asked to which Arthur shook his head and replied.
"Not really, I just don't like anything that I see here. You overestimated this place," said Arthur as he began to walk towards the exit without bothering to look behind him.

As Arthur continued to walk, someone tapped on his shoulder and when it turned around, it was Yosel with the blade that Arthur was staring at in his hand.
"Take it, it's a gift from me to you," said Yosel.
"Sorry I can't accept this, plus I already said I didn't want it," Arthur replied.
"Just say thank you," said Yosel as he shoved the blade into Arthur so that he would take it.
