章節 14: Everything Has A Cost
"Wait, are you saying that you were the one that killed your own parents? That would be absurd though right? How could that be? A mere child such as yourself should not be capable of doing something like that. Especially considering who your parents were, you should have not been able to even land a single scratch on them," said Yosel in disbelief.
However Arthur's possessed body was no longer willing to listen, his tier 100 spell was complete. There was no turning back now, he was finally ready to cast it.
"Be gone!-" Arthur began to yell before he began to choke and cough up blood which interrupted his spell and caused him to drop to the ground.
"Get up you damn useless body!" Arthur yelled at himself as he tried to stand so that he could use his spell however no amount of yelling and struggling would accomplish that. As such, the possessed Arthur passed out from exhaustion and Yosel was overcome with joy. Of course due to Arthur having passed out, the demon layer of skin began to get retracted to reveal Arthur's human skin.
"No way, he's actually unconscious now. Well, I better take advantage of this moment and kill him," said Yosel as he began to rush towards the lifeless body that was Arthur and prepared to kill him with a single blow.
"Die!" Yosel yelled however right before his arm could reach Arthur's body and kill him, Yosel stopped himself before letting out a laugh. At that precise moment, the giant man that was there to kill Arthur began to wake up and started walking towards Arthur so that he could finish the job that he had started.
"Get out of the way Yosel, let me kill the boy. I know that this was just a test for him but he's seriously far too dangerous to be left alive. I need to kill him. It's now or never. If he wakes up and the demonic side of him begins to take over again, it'll be the end of this world as we know it. The only reason we are still alive is because I already weakened his real body. Imagine if he was at his full strength," said the giant man to which Yosel simply gave a nod and moved to the side so that the giant man could swing his hammer towards the unconscious body of Arthur and kill him once and for all.
"Do not blame us, blame yourself that you were born with a demon inside you," said the giant man before finally bringing his hammer down towards Arthur.
"Tier 20 spell: 5 Second Rewind"
Using this spell, Yosel was able to turn time back by exactly 5 seconds which caused the hammer wielding giant to go back to his final stance. As such, his hammer was not swinging down towards Arthur.
Taking advantage of that moment, Yosel swiftly took a leap in the air before pointed his arm like a blade and slicing off the giant man's head with his bare arm and watched as it fell down towards the ground, still having a look of shock on his face as that was the last thing he had expected from Yosel.
"Do not blame me, blame yourself for not being able to see my clear intentions. I do not care if the boy is possessed. That is even better for me. It allows me to raise him to become an absolute power house. Even so, this will mean that the council of sorcery will come after me since I've killed one of their most loyal servants. Although it's not like I care. I can actually put up a fair fight against all of their forces combined. Even if that's not good enough, I'll always have my trump card with me so that I don't have to worry about anything. The only real concern I have is 'him' however he hasn't made an appearance in what seems to be at least 20 years. It's quite unfortunate, well, more specifically unfortunate for you since he was the only one who could actually defeat me. Now that he's gone, I'm free to do as I wish," said Yosel with a smile before walking towards Arthur and sitting beside him with his legs crossed on the ground.

For the next 3 days, Yosel sat there waiting for Arthur to wake up. That would finally take place on the third night when Yosel was finally starting to feel sleepy. As the stars shined upon them, Arthur opened his eyes wide as if he was full of energy.
"Huh?" Arthur asked with a loud voice as he was not sure if he was alive or dead.
"Hello there Arthur," said Yosel to which Arthur instantly leapt back as he was under the impression that Yosel was planning to kill him.
"Oh right, I guess you still don't know. Everything that took place was supposed to be a test for you. However I guess things went a bit too far and well we're here now so I guess that's all that matters," said Yosel to which Arthur gave a confused expression.
"You realise that I literally could have died right? I'm pretty sure those hits weren't a joke. Breaking both my arms and turning my bones to dust particles was not a joke, you seriously expect me to believe that you along with your buddy attempting to kill me is just some joke? You might as well have told me you were conducting a social experiment to see if a child would survive getting hit by the force of a mountain," said Arthur as he mocked Yosel.
"I get what you're saying but it's not all our fault. I mean what the hell was the demonic form of yours? It was able to cast spells on tier 20 and furthermore, you were casting a tier 100 spell which even I didn't know was possible. So I guess you have some explaining to do as well," Yosel replied as if he had the right to be angry.
"Demonic form? Tier 100 spell? What are you talking about? Are you sure you didn't hit your head too hard?" Arthur asked to which Yosel simply let out a sigh and began to explain.
