A straightforward word but with a meaning so profound and cluttered and yet it couldn't explain my present situation, not even that simple word could explain how I feel. I feel like I was at the rim of a cliff and the little thing holding me was nothing but a tiny rope and then it snapped. It snapped
Something fractured within me, the exact moment he took off his mask, and reality sunk. An unlit reality I wasn't quite sure I could accept but yet here it lies before me, like the easiest thing ever and yet the most haunting thing ever.

His sad eyes were on me like he could see me, the sadness drowning into mine and he looked younger and not the mature William I know but it doesn't make any difference.

He was the one who abandoned me, all along it was him.

Dy_zamite I know y'all must be thinking that Ava is overreacting.
But try to see it from her perspective. She has never been loved before or ever loved anymore, William is the first everything to her and the first person to ever love her, so this happening came as a huge shock.
She is in both denial and pain and it is all exploding all at once, not everyone has control over their emotions and Ava DOES not.
So she won't process this well, she will be torn between finding the truth and dealing with pain, and TRUST me, she won't do that well.
Everyone has flaws!
