章節 17: The Looks
An intense silence followed as I fixed my gaze on Dav.
Still, his expressionless face remained unchanged as he returned my stares. Good lord, if he planned to make me die of embarrassment, then it was only a matter of time before his mission would be accomplished.
" Is that necessary? I won't waste time." I managed to say and hell did that make his face fold.
I didn't know what to do to make him understand that our marriage was too young for us to start showing off our nakedness because from what I saw from this vamp that stood in front of me, he was ready to take off his towel right there and then.
Without saying a word, Dav moved to sit beside me.
" Wife, we need to stop procrastinating the inevitable. If we do this, you will feel comfortable when it's finally time for us to mate."
If only he knew how those words irked me, I knew that he had referred to the vampires' request for him to have a child.
Amid my thoughts, he laid his hand on my shoulder which was enough to make me regain myself but he didn't stop there. I guess Dav had stopped trying to hide his true nature. Without waiting for my permission, he slowly uncovered my shoulder by pushing back the sleeves to my arm.
" Trust me, I won't pass my boundaries by touching you provocatively." He said as he brought his lips to my shoulder and gave it a series of pecks but that was the exact act that he said he wouldn't do.
What makes him that I like when he kisses me on my shoulder?
With the intent of showing how displeased I was, I moved away from him but that didn't stop him as he moved closer.
" Dav, you said we are running late but it seemed that you are intentionally wasting time," I said while my gaze was still fixed on him.
Realizing that I wasn't affected by his action, he gave me a surprised look before standing on his feet. Well, I cared less about the sympathetic display he tried to pull off since he wasn't going along with his promise of never making any advances on me until I was ready.
I watched as he walked to the bathroom while he dragged his feet on the floor. He sure did know how to play the victim of the story.
The moment he got into the bathroom, I let out a loud sigh. I thought Dav was supposed to be a prince but he didn't act like one, what prince would act so miserably in the presence of a female?
I know that he promised that he wouldn't touch me even if we bathed together but that was not possible, he was a male and I, a female, everyone knows what happens between a naked male and female confined in a small space and the thought of it made my body shiver.
It was not up to five minutes before Dav got out of the bathroom but this time, he didn't put on a towel, rather, on him was a small tight men's underwear but the awkwardness in the room got more intense when my gaze traveled to the lower half of his body.
I refused to be deceived, Dav had intentionally put that on. There, I could see the exact shape of his private through his tight shorts and he didn't bother to hide it, instead, formed a smile with his thin lips. For some reason, I couldn't take my gaze away from it even with my reddened face.
That was my first time seeing the shape of a male's private part.
" Wife, you should go in, father would be worried," Dav said to draw my gaze back to his eyes.
Immediately after his words, I took the towel he had given me and rushed to the bathroom.
' What the…..' I muttered as I placed my hand on my chest while I fell back to the door.
It was official, I married a shameless vamp with a somewhat nice personality, what Dav had just done made my thoughts travel to something that was out of the question. If he could behave like that when I was still uncomfortable around him, who knows what he would do when I get free with him? Maybe, he might probably go naked whenever we were alone.
" Wife, are you okay?" Those were the words I heard from him while he knocked on the door.
" Yes, I'll be out in a minute." Without waiting much time, I quickly took my bath but again, I just have to turn out to be stupid and forgetful.
Why did I have to forget the one thing that had been at the back of my mind? My clothes.
That only meant I would have to barge into the room with only a short towel wrapped around my chest while Dav was still in the room. Surely, that task was difficult especially when he seemed to be in the mood for pleasure.
Taking a series of deep breaths, I slowly opened the door and as expected, my gaze traveled to Dav, whose choice of dressing surprised me. For the first time since I met him, I finally got to see him dressed in a royal outfit. If my thoughts wouldn't turn out to be stupid, I would have compared him to the prince in the Cinderella story.
Due to my mother's high taste, it wasn't so hard for me to figure out the worth and classiness of the Royal Blue embellished shirt, paired with raw silk inner but he didn't dress like that during our reception, so why now?.
.
" Wife, are you just going to stand there?" He said with a huge grin on his face. I couldn't believe that I had actually forgotten that I was almost naked because of what?..... Dav's looks?
Feeling too embarrassed, I quickly rushed to the walk-in closet but was startled by the material I saw before me and the boldly neat written note hung above the material.
" For my princess." I read it out loud before turning my gaze to the dress Dav had gotten for me.
