Alexander rolled his eyes. "I did my best. She was just too powerful."

Alexander clenched his jaw. "I don't need your sarcasm right now, Alex. Can't you just be supportive for once?"
Alex's tone softened. [< (_ _) >(apologize) I'm just messing with you. You know I'm always here to support you, win or lose. But you have to admit, it was pretty funny watching you try to use that electric gun against a magician.]
Alexander couldn't help but chuckle, despite his disappointment. "Okay, fine, you got me there. But I'm still going to keep trying. Maybe next time, I'll actually come out on top."
When Alexander arrived at the hotel, he was taken aback by the appearance of an old man - the same one who had purchased one of his gadgets before. The old man approached him and requested that he follow him, and Alexander, sensing no immediate danger, decided to go along with him. The man led Alexander through winding streets and alleys, finally bringing him to a grand castle. The castle was unlike anything Alexander had ever seen before, with high walls, towers, and a moat encircling the structure.
As Alexander followed the old man into the castle, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the grandeur of the place. The old man turned to him and said, "I must apologize for my earlier behavior. You see, I am actually a nobleman, and I was interested in your gadgets."
Alexander was taken aback by this revelation and quickly tried to deflect the conversation. "Oh, I had no idea," he said, feigning surprise. "But I'm just a simple inventor. My gadgets are not that special."
The old man chuckled. "Modesty is a virtue, my boy. But I can assure you that your gadgets have caught the eye of many people, including myself and my granddaughter."
As if on cue, a beautiful girl with fiery red hair entered the room. She looked to be around 17 years old and had a radiant smile. Her green eyes sparkled with intelligence and curiosity. She wore a simple yet elegant dress that accentuated her natural beauty.
The old man turned to her and said, "Alexander, this is my granddaughter, Isabella. Isabella, this is the young inventor I told you about."
Isabella smiled warmly at Alexander and extended her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Alexander ."
Alexander shook her hand and felt a jolt of electricity run through his body. He was captivated by her beauty and charm. "The pleasure is all mine, Isabella. I'm glad to hear that you're interested in my gadgets."
While they continued to talk, Alexander found himself drawn to Isabella's lively personality and infectious enthusiasm. He realized that he was developing feelings for.
As Isabella listened intently to Alexander's explanation of his gadgets, her eyes sparkled with curiosity and wonder. "Wow, you created all of these yourself?" she asked, impressed.
Alexander nodded confidently, "Yes, I did. I have built more gadgets, but unfortunately, I did not bring them with me."
The old man leaned in, "That's a shame. I would have been interested in seeing more of your creations."
Alexander was about to respond when the old man interrupted him, "Speaking of gadgets, I have a question for you, young man. Do you happen to have a gadget that can cure illnesses?"
Alexander's mind raced. He had never created anything like that, but he didn't want to disappoint the old man. He had an idea.
"Why, yes, I do," Alexander said with a hint of pride in his voice.
"Really?" the old man asked, his voice tinged with excitement.
Alexander nodded, hoping that they couldn't see through his lie. "Yes, I do have a gadget that can cure illnesses. It's not far from here, but it will take me some time to go and get it."
Isabella looked at Alexander with admiration, "You're amazing! If your gadget can cure my mother's illness, I will be forever grateful to you."
The old man smiled at Alexander, "Thank you for offering to help. My daughter, Isabella's mother, has been sick for a long time, and we've tried everything to cure her. I'll pay you handsomely for your gadget."
Alexander couldn't believe his luck. Not only was he going to make a lot of money, but he might also win the affection of Isabella. But he knew that he had to be careful, or else his lies would catch up to him.
"Of course, I'll do everything I can to help," Alexander said with a smile. "I'll go and get the gadget right away."
As he left the room, Alexander's mind raced. He didn't have a gadget that could cure illnesses, but he did have a spaceship with a variety of medicines and gadgets that could help. He knew that he had to find a way to make it work, or else he would lose the trust of the old man and Isabella.
