Arissa cursed inwardly. How can she see danger as big as this and then accept it if he isn't the curse?
Nicklaus dropped his head down as he looked into the beauty underneath his eyes. It has been months now since he had sex and that would only make him fuck her mindlessly.
And holy Lord knows how bad it would be for her if she pushes him more to release all of his held-up desires and he is sure as hell that controlling them would not be an option.
They held each other gaze and still holding her gaze, Nicklaus's hand lifted as his finger roamed around her bare waist that the fabric forgot to cover up.
Her innocence is something glaring even with the fact that she is trying to cover it up with boldness. He has never laid with a virgin before and that is one of the reasons why he is mindlessly rouge and all around hard on the bed.
His breath hitched as he watched how she closed her eyes with his finger on her waist, "Look for someone else," he said in a low voice and was about to get off her.
"Please, stop, prolonging this," Arissa said with a light plea in her voice. Her marriage would happen soon and this is the only help he can offer.
"I'm only trying to help you," his voice came out a little too frosty, "Find someone else," he advised her as he stood off her body.
"I don't do virgins." he deadpanned before she can protest.
Arissa's face turned red with embarrassment. Here she was thinking he did not notice unbeknownst to her, it was the reason he had been prolonging everything.
"I would hurt you," he added, certainty dripping off his words. She is delicate no matter how she tries to make it the opposite.
He can see through her perfectly!
"You don't need to go gentle with me." she protested sitting up on the bed, "Let's just stop prolonging this," Arissa said looking at the back of his palm that have some black ink escaping out of his white sleeves with the drawing of a bird.
Nicklaus turned to her and gave out a chuckle at her face, "Just get some rest Arissa," he said before standing up from the bed.
The lack of sleep might be what is causing her to be this delusional.
He placed his hand on her shoulder, "I only have sex with experienced people."
Arissa frowned at his words.
His word hurt her a little too much and hell crab, it was almost morning. She left the hospital past eleven and Jocelyn added a big role for her to meet with this super arrogant and proud stranger.
She swallowed all her anger and immediately, her temperament was back to normal.
"I don't think am someone you would like to spend your first time with," he said with a bit of concern, and immediately, Arissa's anger increased.
One moment his tune is mocking and in another moment he is concerned. She looked up at him and stood up from the bed.
She has had enough of him already.
"Where are you going?" Nicklaus's stern voice asked her the moment she stood up.
Arissa was taken aback by his question. Did he expect to just sit here and listen to him throw words at her with his complicated emotions?
"Going downstairs," she said taking steps forward. He is just wasting her night here so, no matter how handsome he looks, she would sweep him under her carpet.
"Why?" he asked her also taken aback by his question as if he do not know what is done there.
Arissa turned to him and glared at him. What kind of shitty question is that?
"ARIssa!!" he called her so sternly with a little bit of anger in his voice, "Going downstairs for what?"
Arissa's legs were glued to the floor the moment she heard his voice and how angry it sounded. Why is he so furious? There were also some additional emotions that she can not point out.
Arissa turned to him and now she saw how frosty he looked and she swallowed immediately'Isn't he supposed to be happy she is going downstairs already? '
"I'm going downstairs to get a man willing to give me all the experience on sex I need to know," she answered looking at his face but not his eyes. He is too scary right now.
Come to think of it, did he not advise her to look for someone else?
Nicklaus became speechless with her guts to give him such a reply and at himself. But hell wait, what right did he have on her to be mad with a reply as such from her?
Yes, he is incapable of having sex with someone as innocent and as pure as her but yet, he felt badly uneasy after hearing her talking about going downstairs, and now, his stomach felt shallow hearing her reason to be downstairs.
He wasn't going to lie, there's something about her that makes him somehow drawn to her unrequited.
Nicklaus exhales deeply as if she stresses him. He walked over to her and stood before her, "Don't go downstairs," he said through gritted teeth with a still stern voice.
He tries not to let out those words but that would only mean that she would go downstairs and unconsciously, that is the last thing he wants.
