The moment was cut short as a short cough dragged both of our attention back to reality. Reluctantly, we pried our arms off of each other in favor of addressing the other person in the room. The one that actually made this reunion happen in the first place.

I chuckled at the veiled implications of her statement. There was only so much biology could do before the body odor finally took its due toll. Though, I would appreciate a new set of threads seeing as mine was literally already ripped to shreds.

I turned to Lise, to which my sister reacted like a deer stuck in headlights as she took a few seconds to register the order before quickly springing into action. "O-Of course, Dame Mathilde."

"I'll be waiting," the newly named Mathilde nodded, still sticking with her cold tone for god knows why.
