The waiter led Liliana to the restroom in the back hallway of the restaurant. The longer they walked, the quieter their surroundings became until only the echoes of their footsteps could be heard.

"How could the entire main restroom of a fine dining restaurant have a breakdown? Isn't it inappropriate to have the patrons going to the deserted hallway?"

Liliana's voice reverberated in the hallway. Her cold gaze saw how the waiter slightly froze.

The waiter turned around, looking at Liliana. His countenance expressed his guilt for not bringing the best state for the patron.

"I apologize on behalf of the restaurant, miss. The pipes have some leaks. You won't be comfortable using the main restroom."

Before the waiter brought Liliana here, he told her that the main restroom was under repair. Thus, the only functioning one was in the back hallway. There was quite a distance from the dining area of the restaurant.
