章節 146: At The Dance Floor

Katherine stood with Thomas on an elevated platform. She was holding a microphone, her lips curling up into a graceful smile. She would begin giving her speech to the guests.

Liliana and the others moved closer to the stage. As per the usual practice, they would head to the dance floor after Katherine's speech.

Thomas and Katherine would have the opening dance, followed by Deanna and her fiance. Esther, Selena, Albert and Dylan usually would sit out the dance.

Liliana used to forgo the dance too until her marriage to Asher. Surprisingly, he was willing to comply with the routine after being requested by Thomas once.

But, it seemed like she would start to pass up dancing again starting this year. Not that Liliana minded about it.

Liliana disliked being scrutinized by the guests during the dance. She only endured it just because she could be close to Asher when the waltz music was playing.
