章節 2: Neglect wasn't the answer
[Maki: Ara! Why do you have to leave me? I thought we had something special and yet I see you with another wench!!!
Bad ending#1 Forever lovers (Maki Adagaki): You felt an excruciating pain deep within your abdomen! When your gaze met with your stomach, you are left with a large gaping hole. In addition to your slow demise, Maki wields a bloody knife, she swings her arm and your vision became dark. Afraid of losing the one she thought was her beloved, she's left with no choice but to kill. Your head was chopped and she exits your house carrying your severed head and departing to who knows where]
"Hello! Are you there Mr. Transferee? You're spacing out!" Maki sway her hands back and forth near his eyes and he snaps back to see her standing in arms reach
"Arrrrghh! Oh nothing, im sorry about that! I'll be on my way!!" In shock, Hikaru's only response was to run and avoid her at all costs
'Holy shit! Holy shit!!! What the fuck is happening with my life!!? Her face, voice, and even that panel... Why does it look similar to the game?'
"Hey watch where you're going!!!"
"Sorry about that!" In his pursuit of escaping from Maki, he accidentally bumps into a student and proceeds to escape without a care
After a while, young Hikaru manages to find the gym, however, his fate has already been sealed. He didn't have to shift his gaze to know whether or not the maven was gazing upon his seat. The same panel which shows Maki's description was now alerting him of her actions
[System: The available heroine [Maki Adagaki] is glancing at the host!!!]
'Calm down, Hikaru. Whether this is truly the fact I have to face, it's not the end of the world. I just initiated our first encounter, it'll only get dangerous if I became a part of her life. That's it! I'll just ignore her... But even so, just meeting her is already a dead flag,'
[(Past) Maki Adagaki: There was a time when Maki Adagaki was a normal kind and caring maiden. That's until tragedy struck her fiancee who love and cared for her in the earliest of her life... You the 'Player' seems to resemble her deceased lover has been a target of her obsession]
'This stupid panel has some good uses as well? I thought it could only display the description of the heroine, but I was wrong... This panel acts similarly to the game system. Since I don't have my keyboard, I think this operates with the will of my mind,'
When the speech of the headmaster was concluded. Young Hikaru and his fellow students are now required to partake in their lessons. But before he could do so, he'd heard a distant voice calling for his name
"Hey, transferee over here! Can I talk to you~" It was Maki, and when she was close by a hair in his tracks, Hikaru vanished from the range of her sight
Once the students disperse, Maki soon uncovers his location. She tried calling for him again, but to no avail, Hikaru dashes through the crowd like a burglar on the run. No signs of stopping his pursuit of peace and prosperous normal living at this magnificent school

I just want a normal life, I'll just have to avoid her until this whole thing blows off. With the system by my side, there's no way I'd get caught by her horrendous storyline," From the day and after his vow, Hikaru constantly avoids any form of contact with the
'Thus a month had passed and before I knew it, the true face of this obscured reality of mine had arrived. It happened so fast and I couldn't even respond and there I was frozen in horror from what was about to come. This was the time I truly learned my lesson and soon after this realization, I began to seriously consider following the plot,'
1 month later

"Hey Hikari can you stop hogging the girls?"
"What do you mean!!?" Hikari responded with an overly optimistic tone whilst confused about the matter
"Dude!! Do you think we're blind...? You've been sticking out of the crowd for a whole month. Like who the hell jumps on the second floor just to avoid a girl? What's more, that girl is Maki Adagaki! Class 1-A queen bee!!!"
"Is that how they're seeing it? Why would I run to the other side of the world if I want to gain some fame? I don't know what you see in her but Im questioning you and the other's taste in girls! Adagaki's bad news~" In that lonesome rooftop terrace in the middle of the afternoon his life took a drastic turn
"How cruel!! Hikaru... Why are you avoiding me...? Why did you have to make me choose this path? I just wanted to talk to you, my dear beloved," Maki's voice crept into his back, and Hikaru faces a maiden tarnished by what he believed to be dye
But when he took a step back he heard a faint ripple of water beneath his feet, but the result frightened him the most. What lies beyond the sold floor of the rooftop was the body of his bleeding friend. But his screams were short-lived as soon as he heard, Maki's cries shifted to a pure twisted chuckle
[System: Yandere meter has been filled!!!
Outcome: The heroine [Maki Adagaki's] bad ending shall commence! Prepare yourself for the worst]
Maki's course of action made him recollect a certain horrific ending in a timeline near the beginning. A bad ending that can only appear as though the requirements have been met, but he never once interacted with her. Why was this happening all of a sudden? Hikaru stood frozen for about a second or two, and when she reaches for a hug, Hikaru in turn pushed her to the ground
"Why... Hikaru~ I mean Makoto... Why are you acting like this? I've been patient and waited for you to return your affection. Why, why, why, why, why!!! Why do you keep pushing me away!!!?" The two of them began a wild chase in the corridors of the school and Hikaru intends on escaping from her grasp
"Shit, shit, shit, shit! Why the hell is this happening!!!? Focus Hikaru, that's not important! I need to escape. By the looks of the blood dripping in Kaoru's body, there's a chance he can still be saved if I escape and call the authorities. God damn it!!! This wasn't supposed to happen, why did she become a psycho?" On his way through the halls, he notices the bundle of traps prepared for him in advance
It ranges from bear traps, through the whole floors covered in marble and some sabotage with oil. This area he always visited was one of the places that are rarely used by its students and faculty members alike. While it became a good hiding spot, in the case of such a surprise, this place aided his demise
"Makoto!!! Ahahahahaahah Im just one step closer to the two of us reuniting!!!" With Maki behind her tail and the time he's left to escape, Hikaru hasten himself, even knowing all the possible dangers ahead
[System: [Death trap] mini-game has been triggered!!! The host will now assist you in better observing these traps]
With the help of the system and his athletic body at play, Hikaru manages to escape from the trap she'd placed. The exit was right in front of him but he met with another hindrance again. The handles were broken and no matter how much he tugged, they wouldn't budge for a single bit
"You have nowhere to escape, Hikaru... I know why you're persistent in helping a random nobody. So how about this, if I help you find a way, you'll give me your life in return. Doesn't that sound like a good deal~ wait what are you doing!!?" Maki's eyes began to fill with worry upon seeing young Hikaru attempting to escape with the use of the third floors windows
"I'll be taking my leave first!!!" It was a suicidal attempt but in his jump, he threw himself to the trajectory of a nearby pole
'I can make it!! I'll just have to force my way through!!!'
It was plausible to survive such a fall if he were to perfectly grapple to the pole. Hikaru swings his arms and his hands manage to reach and get a grip. But every mistake he's done had bitten him at the worst possible time in a matter of life and death
"No!!!" The sweat he accumulated in his palms made him slippery and his fatigue drained most of his remaining strength
Even if it was for a second, young Hikaru didn't manage to grab ahold of his one final hope for a better life. His strength failed him and now he's hurdling to death's doors, and a few bystanders manage to spot his corpse. The cause of death was his fall and yet his head remain unfound and at another area, Maki held his head closer to herself
[System: You've died by your own doing!!! The host doesn't have a save file...?
Outcome: Because the requirement of a 'Save file' wasn't met, the system will return the host to the very beginning]
Just a second ago his life flash through with his fall from the third floor of one of the school's vacant buildings. Now he was alive and well? Young Hikaru was perplexed by his situation and he returns to the time of his entrance ceremony. When he was about to enter another one of his internal monologues, a guard interrupted him out of concern
"Kid are you alright...? You look like you're having a heart attack," The sensation of touch, the intense beating of his heart, and the winds blowing from within his head
No doubt about it, Hikaru was alive! But instead of relief, his mind was filled with madness. It seems that death wasn't an option for he will return even in the case of his demise
