章節 75: Chapter 75:The Attack on the Party
Multiple people who were among the group quickly rushed towards the woman while pointing revolvers.
2 of these people launched what seemed to be an air attack at the woman while others began to sing.
Before the attacks came a wall of ice appeared in front of the woman and behind those who attacked the woman 3 beautiful women appeared and released flames of black fire.
One of the ones who launched the air attack used the wind to deflect this surprise attack while one of the ones who was chanting was hung on the ceiling as if something had been wrapped around his neck and he had been hung.
But before the man was hanged to death, a majestic voice that spoke in ancient Hermes resounded throughout the hall.
"IT IS PROHIBITED TO USE THREADS IN HERE"
When he finished saying that, the man who was hanging fell from the ceiling but thanks to one of the other men who controlled the wind to slow down his fall, nothing happened to him.
At this chaos broke out in the room and when people tried to escape they discovered that they could not leave the room because the doors would not move.
"HELP HELP"
"Please Goddess..."
some people managed to pray while others started screaming for help.
Adryan couldn't keep paying attention to this because he had to dodge several black fire attacks coming from his right side.
Grievius did the same while jumping on top of the table to dodge the attack.
'Fuck discretion!!!!!' The redhead thought as he quickly placed the Burnt Band on his left arm.
The light ravings of the True Creator began to sound in his head giving a much more chaotic atmosphere to the disaster that was happening.
The fight in the living room had started being on one side:
Punishers, Nighthawks and some Guards vs Witches while on the other it was Adryan and Grievius vs Witch.
Adryan continued to dodge the attacks of the witch who still couldn't locate where they came from.
Suddenly he saw how Grievius got up with a revolver in hand and shot towards the ceiling.
A woman appeared who was using her invisibility ability to attack.
"Selena!!" Immediately recognizing the woman, Adryan couldn't help but yell that name.
"Honey it's been a while how are you?" was what Selena replied with a smile as she continued to launch fire attacks causing Grievius and Adryan to separate even more.
With a small smile Adryan answered while still dodging.
"You already know,I have been quite well until I had to see that familiar neutered dog" Selena's eyebrows trembled violently as her brow furrowed.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY INSECT" she yelled furiously as she launched an even stronger attack of black fire towards Adryan exposing an opening.
Shadows enveloped Adryan as he completed a Shadow Leap, managing to dodge Selena's attack.
Grievius taking advantage of this opportunity that Adryan had made shot some bullets at Selena that she could not dodge in time and they hit her chest.
But she turned into a black wooden staff that broke into pieces.
She then appeared a few meters from her previous spot with a calmer and colder
expression as she watched Adryan and Grievius.
The hairs on the back of Adryan's neck rose and he reflexively turned to stop just in time an arm that had a dagger pointed at his heart.
Adryan's expression fell upon seeing the owner of the arm.
"Robert?" The blond's warm expression had been replaced by a great coldness while his eyes shone with disgust.
"Don't touch me worm!!" Robert said in a dark voice as he tried to kick Adryan in the face who blocked the kick and threw the blonde to the side.
"I knew there was something wrong with him" was all Grievius said as he watched as Robert came to Selena's side with a dagger in his gloved hand.
Adryan simply stared as Robert watched them with a hatred that no longer needed to be contained causing his nature to change completely.
"Brat, now is not the time to cry about your failed relationship" Grievius told him, making Adryan look at him sideways.
They couldn't say anything else because they had to dodge Selena's attack that launched an ice spear towards where they were making them separate again.
Recovering himself as he nodded to the man, Adryan went on guard but before he could move he saw Grievius throw his revolver at him along with two speed loaders.
"Use it well brat I hope you return it to me later it is my greatest love"
"But how are you going to…" before he could protest Adryan could see fire ravens appear around Grievius before they launched themselves at Selena.
"I have my tricks Brat!!"
Adryan didn't even have time to react to this revelation because he had to dodge Robert's attack, who had thrown some daggers at him.
Adryan pointed the revolver at Robert and with a pang in his heart pulled the trigger twice.
Robert zigzagged avoiding the redhead's shots as he got back to melee range.
The redhead kept his cool as he held the revolver tight and prepared for the blonde's attack.
The blond lunged at Adryan's leg but Adryan only stepped back as he jabbed with his left fist.
Robert moved his head a little and taking advantage of the inertia he launched a kick towards Adryan's face who blocked it with his right arm while giving a strong kick to Robert's chest that he barely managed to block but still separated a good distance from the redhead who returned to raise the revolver and fired 4 rapid shots hitting Robert in the chest.
But instead of bleeding or falling to the ground, he became extremely thin until he became a paper figure.
Seeing how Robert appeared about 4 meters from where he was before this, Adryan could only say one thing as he quickly opened the cylinder of the revolver, emptying the casings and using one of the two quick reloads that Grievius had given him.
"Shit...."

章節 76: Chapter 76:Provoker vs Assassin
If looks could kill, Adryan would have turned to ash from how hard Robert was glaring at him.
Robert now had a death expression as he held his dagger in his gloved hand and the redhead just looked at this with a small smile hiding any other feelings than calm.
'That glove.... he must have bought at the party a few weeks ago' Adryan could still vividly remember that night,the revolver and glove were sold and it had never left his mind,mostly because of the price.
"I didn't know you were so good at running Robert" aiming at the blonde Adryan fired a shot which the blonde dodged by jumping to the side.
"You must have been a dancer the way you jump over everything just like a balerina" firing another bullet, the redhead did not stop talking, always trying to get into Robert's head with his provocation, but despite how he could see that the blonde was getting more and more furious, he did not make another mistake.
Judging by Robert's rather pale skin and how he seemed to be sweating quite a bit, Adryan calculated that the blonde could only use the paper figurine exchange one more time.
Now he just had to take out Robert's second life before he could finish him off.
So, gripping the revolver tightly, the redhead grabbed a chair with his left hand before throwing it towards Robert who was not expecting this strange movement.
Giving another jump to avoid the chair, the blond lost sight of the redhead causing his pupils to shrink so without hesitation the guy snapped his fingers, being enveloped by a flame and barely managing to dodge two shots from Adryan who had come out of the shadows from Robert's left side after using Shadow Leap.
Robert appeared a few meters from where he was originally and he rushed towards Adryan taking advantage of the short distance.
Giving a sharp thrust to Adryan's chest, Adryan deflected the attack with his left wrist before kicking Robert's right knee causing him to kneel and placing the revolver to his forehead.Adryan fired two quick shots but once again Robert transformed into a paper figurine and appeared a few meters from where he was.
"Don't you learn that it's a bad idea to go hand in hand when you don't even know how to touch yourself" Robert's face was pure fury but he was extremely pale while Adryan was somewhat agitated but could still fight.
Unlike Robert who was using his artifact non-stop, Adryan had only used his 2 times not wasting his spirituality and being a higher sequence he still had juice in the tank, unlike Robert who seemed very sick and showed symptoms of low spirituality.
The whole great hall was in ruins due to the great fight that the officials were having with the witches but it seemed that they were even, neither being able to land a good blow on the other.
It seemed that the 2 of the 4 witches were using some extraordinary artifact that was managing to suppress the Punishers not allowing them to show more strength.
The fight between Grievius and Selena just kept escalating and due to the flames from it the place started to catch fire, a part of the wall had already been filled with fire.
But while all this was going on, Adryan just didn't know why the reinforcements hadn't arrived.
How was it possible that in the middle of one of the richest areas of Backlund being so close to the MI9 offices no one had come already?.
This was already too exaggerated and showed that the situation was much worse than originally seen.
'Are they using some grade 1 artifact in order to prevent the disturbance here from attracting attention?'
That would be a very good reason to explain why no one had managed to escape and ask for help but he felt that there was something else involved in this.
But before he could continue thinking about what the redhead was going through, he saw how Robert ran towards a group of people who were hiding in a corner behind some tables.
"COWARD COME BACK HERE" Adryan yelled as he went in pursuit of Robert who had gotten way ahead of him.
Pointing his revolver, Adryan thought about shooting but seeing the people he could hit if he missed or if Robert dodge, the redhead could only grunt as he ran faster trying to catch up to the blond.
Behind the tables before Adryan managed to kill Robert's second life...
"Charles, what is happening" a pregnant woman was crying loudly in the arms of the aforementioned who was trying to comfort her.
"Calm down love breathe everything will be fine" Charles tries the best he could but he himself was very scared but tried to hide it.
Looking around he managed to see how Isaac was hugging his wife in a corner while Viktor was sitting on the floor in a catatonic state unable to process what was happening.
A hand gripped his tightly and Charles looked at his wife who was trembling with teary eyes.
"I don't want to die, Charles" was what she said with teary eyes as she placed her hand on her stomach.
"Everything is going to be fine, everything is going to be fine..." This was the only way Charles could think of to calm his wife down.
But before he could continue consoling his wife, another series of shots rang out and shortly after the cry of a very familiar voice.
"COWARD COME BACK HERE"
"Adryan?"
Hearing the voice, Charles poked his head in slightly to see what was going on.
I manage to see how the secretary Robert was with a dagger in his hand while being chased by Adryan who was still a little behind.
He could see the redhead's eyes widen when he saw him and he yelled at him as he tried to catch up with Robert.
"CHARLES STAY AWAY FROM ROBERT"
