章節 22: Forbidden Scroll Heist
As the sun sets and the sky grew dark, the stars and moon come out in all their glory, illuminating the night sky with a soft, pale light. The air is still and quiet, with the occasional sound of an animal or insect in the distance.
Yasui had witnessed Naruto's whole interaction with Mizuki. He had tailed them in the distance, and even though he couldn't hear them, he was already aware of what they were talking about.
When Naruto left Mizuki, Yasui continued tailing Naruto into the forest after the forbidden scroll was stolen. He could've gone ahead of Naruto. But truthfully, he did not know the location that Mizuki told Naruto about.
Finally, Naruto reached an abandoned building in the forest outside of the village. Naruto didn't wait and immediately got to work, opening the scroll of forbidden techniques and starting to learn the very first technique: The Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu.
Yasui knew that he had a lot of time until Naruto is caught. Even so, he began his heist hastily.
He snuck up onto the top of the building and pretended to be surprised while looking down at Naruto. He opened his mouth and made his presence known: "Naruto?"
"Huh? Yasui, is that you?" Naruto looked up at the roof, spotting Yasui standing up there.
"Yes, I heard a noise and found you here after investigating. What are you doing?" Yasui jumped down off the roof, and he met Naruto eye to eye.
"Well, you see… I didn't pass the graduation exam, but Mizuki sensei told me about this scroll. He said that If I can learn one technique from the scroll, then I will be able to become a ninja!" Naruto spoke with a smiling face of hope.
"Is that so? Is it also alright If I took a look at the scroll?" Yasui's eyes drifted to the forbidden scroll that Naruto opened.
"Yup! That's totally fine. Maybe you can help me master a technique too, since you're so good at the academy and all."
Invisibly, Yasui's mouth grinned from ear to ear. His eyes also turned crescent as the stared at the contents of the scroll along with Naruto.
He didn't need to learn the multi-shadow clone jutsu. He already mastered it. Hence, he waited for Naruto to finish reading the technique. After Naruto finished reading it and began practicing, Yasui took over and opened the scroll, viewing all of its contents!
Naruto was working hard to master the techniques, so he didn't pay much attention to Yasui. When he did, he just thought that Yasui was checking out the other techniques on the scroll.
Little did he know… that Yasui is having a literal mind orgasm when he saw all of the techniques on the scroll.

Yasui knew that he won't be able to master all the forbidden techniques, and there are some that he shouldn't master, but there are obviously some that were good to have. Particularly, obtaining the 4 Symbols Seal is exactly what he needs!
He wanted to seal Sora's nine-tail jinchuriki inside of himself, so using the 4 symbols seal is his best choice!
Why is it good? Well, compared to Naruto who had half of the nine tails' chakra sealed with the 8 trigrams seal, he only wanted to seal the little amount of nine tails chakra from Sora into himself. Therefore, he only needed the 4 Symbols seal.
Yausi wasted no time and activated his Sharingan. With the help of his dojutsu, he quickly scanned all of the techniques and memorized them. He also made quick shadow clone copies of the scroll diagrams on the pre-prepared scrolls in this ninja bag.
The diagrams will only stay on the scrolls if he infused chakra with them, so he needed to copy them down later after dealing with Mizuki.
Yasui gently rolled up the forbidden scroll after stealing all of its content. His eyes turned back to normal and sat down next to the scroll, watching Naruto with newfound excitement. He couldn't wait to try out the techniques, but he had to not blow his cover.
"Hey, Yasui… Can you give me some tips? My shadow clones keep coming out white…" Naruto embarrassingly scratched his head, looking to Yasui for advice.
"It's your chakra distribution, Naruto. Imagine an apple being cut in half; this should correlate to how the perfect shadow clone is created. One half of the apple is identical to the other half. What you're doing is that you're not cutting your chakra equally in half, and this creates that pale shadow clone." Yasui pointed out the main flaw that Naruto had.
As if he heard a revelation, a light bulb turned on inside Naruto's head and he got back to work.
Try after try, Naruto's control of chakra separation became more refined. After mastering the shadow clone, he increased it one at a time.
One…
Two…
Four…
Eight…
Sixteen…
Hours flew by and more shadow clones of Naruto appeared in the forest, bringing jealousy to Yasui. He could only make 5 shadow clones, but Naruto already exceeded him by tens of times. Their chakra is simply on different levels.
"Yay!! I finally did it!! I mastered the multi-shadow clone technique!! I'll be able to graduate now, don't you think so, Yasui!?" Naruto fell to Yasui's side and celebrated, still breathing heavily. He had never worked so hard in his life before.
This was the first time that he remained focused on training, and he actually succeeded. The feeling of excellence enveloped him, bringing him to the clouds.
"You'll definitely graduate with this technique." Yasui chuckled.
Flicker!
Iruka suddenly appeared from the woods with his hands on his hip.
"It's over, Naruto!! Hehehe! You too, Yasui! Care to explain what's going on!?"
"Hehe." Naruto stood up with the scroll on his back, and he laughed. Yasui also laughed with Naruto, pretending to not know anything.
"Huh?" Iruka straightened his back, not expecting Naruto and Yasui to act so nonchalantly. Moreover, why is Yasui even here? The report did not have Yasui's name on it.
"You're quick, Iruka Sensei. I only have time to learn one technique." Naruto smiled and scratched his back like a shy kid.
Taken aback, Iruka observed Naruto once more and saw that his whole body is full of dirt. He could tell how hard Naruto was working.
"Listen, Iruka Sensei! I'm going to show you this amazing technique, and you're going to let me graduate! Then, everything will be okay! That's the way it works, right? Anyone who learns a jutsu from this scroll passes."
"Huh? Where did you get that idea? Are you also in on this, Yasui?" Iruka's asked, puzzled. Who in their right mind will come up with this conclusion?
Yasui shook his head and explained: "Mizuki sensei told Naruto about it. He told Naruto where to find the scroll, and this place… I just happen to be training nearby and decided to come and keep Naruto company."
A fearful realization overcame Iruka as he thought about Mizuki. If this whole thing was planned by Mizuki, then this changes the whole story!
Woosh!!
"Look out!!" The sound of Kunais being thrown could be heard, and Iruka immediately pushed Naruto away.
Yasui was already aware of Mizuki's presence, and he jumped out of the way, avoiding all of the kunai.
"I see that you found our little hideaway, Iruka." Mizuki appeared on a tree branch with two massive shurikens on his back.

That said, I am doing something very coolio. Let this cringe lord make you CRINGE EVEN MORE! JUST KEEP WAITING FOR UPDATES! It'll probably start maybe this week or next week!
