章節 103: Chapter 101

As the fourth T20 match between India and England commenced at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the atmosphere was electric. The young and talented Nitish Reddy, who had made a sensational debut in his previous match in Hyderabad, was playing his second T20 international. Sunil Gavaskar and Danny Morrison, the seasoned commentators, were ready to capture every moment of the thrilling encounter.

Sunil Gavaskar: "Welcome back, folks, to the Wankhede Stadium for this high-octane T20 clash! Nitish Reddy, the young all-rounder, is back in the Indian playing eleven. What an impact he made in his debut match!"

Sunil Gavaskar: "Welcome back, folks, to the Wankhede Stadium for this high-octane T20 clash! Nitish Reddy, the young all-rounder, impressed everyone in his debut match in Hyderabad. Can he replicate that magic here in Mumbai?"

Danny Morrison: "Oh, indeed, Sunny! Nitish had a dream debut, and now he's back on the big stage in the City of Dreams. The Mumbai crowd may not have many Telugites, but they sure are eager to witness this young sensation in action."

As India took the field, Nitish was once again handed the ball to bowl his medium-pace. The crowd was buzzing with anticipation, eager to see how the young all-rounder would perform in his second T20 international.

Sunil Gavaskar: "Listen to that applause, Danny! Even though Nitish is playing away from home, the crowd here at Wankhede acknowledges his talent and is fully behind him."

Danny Morrison: "Absolutely, Sunny! Nitish has quickly become a fan favorite with his performances, and the Mumbai crowd is in for a treat today."

As India took the field, Nitish was once again handed the ball to bowl his medium-pace. The crowd roared as he marked his run-up, ready to take on the English batsmen.

Sunil Gavaskar: "Listen to that reception, Danny! The crowd here at Wankhede is electrifying. They are fully aware of Nitish's talent and the impact he can make on this game."

Danny Morrison: "And rightly so, Sunny! Nitish is a player who wears his heart on his sleeve. His passion and commitment to the game are evident in every delivery he bowls and every stroke he plays."

Nitish's bowling display was indeed commendable. Despite not taking any wickets, he bowled with discipline and accuracy on a challenging pitch that was difficult to score on.

Sunil Gavaskar: "Nitish is keeping it tight, bowling at the right areas, and not giving away any freebies. His economy rate may not reflect his impact, but he's making life difficult for the English batsmen."

Danny Morrison: "Absolutely, Sunny! Nitish's bowling performance is a testament to his maturity. He's not getting carried away by the occasion and is executing his plans with precision."

As the English openers, Jos Buttler and Jason Roy, looked to attack the Indian bowlers, the pressure was building. The Wankhede crowd was engrossed in the contest, waiting for a breakthrough from Nitish.

Sunil Gavaskar: "The English openers are off to a flier, Danny! But India needs a wicket to break this partnership and put some brakes on the scoring rate."

Danny Morrison: "That's right, Sunny! Nitish is trying his best to create an opportunity, but Buttler and Roy are playing fearlessly and finding the boundaries at will."

Although Nitish didn't get the breakthrough, his bowling was part of a strategic plan by the Indian captain Virat Kohli. The other bowlers took advantage of the slowness of the pitch and executed their deliveries under the mastermind captaincy of MS Dhoni.

Sunil Gavaskar: "Dhoni's captaincy has been spot on, Danny. He knows how to use his resources, and Nitish has played his role to perfection, even if the wickets haven't come yet."

Danny Morrison: "You're right, Sunny! Cricket is a team sport, and Nitish's contribution may not always show up in the wickets column, but he's playing a vital role in building the pressure."

As England continued to score freely, reaching 72/0 in the powerplay, the match seemed to be slipping away from India's grasp. But a bowling change by Kohli brought the much-needed breakthrough.

Sunil Gavaskar: "And there it is, Danny! A breakthrough for India, and it's Ravindra Jadeja who strikes. Roy is caught in the deep, and the crowd is back on their feet!"

Danny Morrison: "This could be the turning point, Sunny! Nitish's disciplined bowling may not have gotten him the wickets, but it has set the platform for the other bowlers to capitalize."

The wicket of Roy triggered a collapse for England as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Buttler, who was in ominous form, continued to torment the Indian bowlers and was inching towards a brilliant century.

Sunil Gavaskar: "Jos Buttler is on fire, Danny! He's nearing a well-deserved century, and the Indian bowlers need to find a way to dismiss him to have any chance in this match."

Danny Morrison: "But it won't be easy, Sunny! Buttler is striking the ball beautifully, and England is in a commanding position. India needs something special to turn the tide."

And special is what they got. As the match entered its final over, England required 10 runs for victory with Buttler still at the crease. The Wankhede Stadium was gripped by tension, and the crowd was collectively holding their breath.

Sunil Gavaskar: "The final over is upon us, Danny! Ten runs needed, and Nitish Reddy has the ball in his hands. Can he produce some magic for India?"

Danny Morrison: "It's a massive task for the young all-rounder, Sunny! But he's shown composure beyond his years before. Let's see if he can do it again in this pressure-cooker situation."

Buttler and his partner managed just four runs off the first three balls, leaving England needing six runs off the last three balls for a dramatic victory.

Sunil Gavaskar: "It's going down to the wire, Danny! Six runs needed off three balls. Can India hold their nerve, or will Buttler take England over the line?"

Danny Morrison: "The pressure is mounting on both teams, Sunny! Nitish has to bowl a tight line here, and India's fielding needs to be top-notch."

Nitish took a deep breath as he ran in to deliver the fourth ball of the over. With all eyes on him, he bowled a perfect yorker, clean-bowling Buttler and sending the Wankhede crowd into delirium.

Sunil Gavaskar: "What a delivery! What a moment! Nitish Reddy has done it! He's dismissed Buttler, and the Wankhede is erupting in joy!"

Danny Morrison: "Incredible scenes here, Sunny! Nitish has kept his cool under pressure and delivered a magical yorker to dismiss the dangerous Buttler."

But Nitish wasn't done yet. As Eoin Morgan came to the crease, the pressure was on England to score six runs off the last two balls. And once again, Nitish delivered, inducing a false shot from Morgan, who was caught in the deep.

Sunil Gavaskar: "Two in two for Nitish! Can you believe it, Danny? Morgan departs, and India's celebrations continue. This is turning into a historic over!"

Danny Morrison: "I'm running out of words, Sunny! Nitish is creating a fairy-tale story tonight. Two wickets in two balls, and he's left England reeling."

The match had turned on its head in the space of two deliveries, but the drama wasn't over yet. With six runs still needed off the last ball, Nitish ran in for one final delivery.

Sunil Gavaskar: "What a climax, Danny! The match comes down to the last ball, and Nitish Reddy is on a hat-trick. Can he do the unthinkable?"

Danny Morrison: "This is T20 cricket at its best, Sunny! Anything can happen on the last ball, and Nitish has a chance to become the first Indian to take a T20 international hat-trick."

With the crowd on its feet, Nitish delivered a perfect yorker, shattering the stumps of Alex Hales. The Wankhede Stadium erupted as Nitish Reddy achieved the incredible feat of a hat-trick.

Sunil Gavaskar: "History has been made, Danny! Nitish Reddy has done it! He's taken a hat-trick, and the Wankhede is witnessing something truly extraordinary!"

Danny Morrison: "I'm speechless, Sunny! This is one of the most incredible bowling performances we've ever seen. Nitish is the youngest player to take a hat-trick in T20 internationals!"

With five wickets to his name and a sensational hat-trick, Nitish Reddy had won the match for India in the most dramatic fashion. His all-round brilliance had etched his name in the record books, making him the youngest player to score a century and take a fifer in T20s.

Sunil Gavaskar: "What a player we have on our hands, Danny! Nitish Reddy is a genuine match-winner for India. His century with the bat and now this incredible bowling display, he's the hero of the day!"

Danny Morrison: "Indeed, Sunny! Nitish has announced himself on the world stage with this performance. He's shown that he's not just a talent but a superstar in the making."

As Nitish was embraced by his teammates, he couldn't believe the turn of events in the match. His dream T20 international continued to surpass all expectations, and the cricketing world was in awe of his exceptional talent and temperament.

Sunil Gavaskar: "The future of Indian cricket looks brighter than ever, Danny. With young talents like Nitish Reddy, the team is in safe hands."

Danny Morrison: "Absolutely, Sunny! Nitish has proven that age is just a number. He's the youngest, but he's showing maturity beyond his years. The sky is the limit for this young all-rounder."
