章節 17: In the name of Varda elentarí
In the hospital room, Jacob asked freki:
"Can you hide yourself somehow? Being quite honest I'm not really in the mood to explain to the elves how you appeared."
Freki nodded her head and suddenly, her fur that was completely white, was now black and in a flash of magic, she stepped inside jacob's shadow.
Even seeing such a feat, Jacob was not surprised to see freki entering his shadow, all he did was open the door and walk out with a cold expression on his face.

Sitting at a giant rectangular table filled with food were Sindar and Lagertha facing each other, Ysabel next to her mother and Rodric next to Sindar.
The atmosphere on the table was tense but peaceful, they ate breakfast quietly without talking to each other.
Suddenly a door opened and a maid ran up to Lagertha and whispered something in her ear.
Hearing the maid's message, lagertha asked her to come out and said so that everyone could hear:
"Mister voss is coming to us, but it seems that he is ill and the doctor has given some medicine to make him better."
Rodric was worried about jacob's condition and asked lagertha:
"Did he get sick after the fight?"
"No, it seems that he had been sick for a long time, but unfortunately that's all we know, it seems that Mr. voss' illness is unknown."
"Hm... Thank you."
Rodric lowered his gaze and stood reflecting on Jacob and his possible goal which would be to find a cure for this so-called disease...
Sindar was worried about something else, it was about varda elentarí, he wanted to know all the details about how jacob met varda.
As for Ysabel, she was just thinking about her future husband who would come to visit her in a few minutes.
So the silence descended again on the table and lagertha was not satisfied with this and said to the others:
"Cough-cough, I wanted to tell you guys something..."
Everyone looked at her curiously and after getting everyone's attention, lagertha said again:
"I wanted to apologize to all of you, I really regret what I did yesterday, so even if you don't forgive me, know that I will continue to love and like all of you."
Sindar would stop eating his food and reply:
"Don't worry about it, it's not the first time you've snapped and taken childish actions."
Yasbel quickly agreed with her father and completed his sentence:
"Yes, last year you did freak out and did a massacre at the festival banquet, but soon after you repented and stayed crying in your room for days."
Lagertha was embarrassed to remember the past and rodric smiled to see that the friends he knew, had finally returned.
Again, the door opened and everyone looked over, only to find a beautiful elf with white hair and blue eyes.
Immediately ysabel stood up and bowed with her dress and said:
"Welcome, prince zed."
Zed, an elf heir from another kingdom, was in this kingdom because of a political marriage, a marriage that would unite two families that had been at war for generations.
Ysabel had met Zed as a child and had fallen in love with his beauty and strength, so this marriage was a dream for her.
Zed gave her a slight smile and replied:
"Thank you princess ysabel, I am happy to have finally met you again."
The two stood staring at each other like pigeons in love until lagertha said to sindar:
"Look at the two of them, didn't they look like us when we were teenagers?"
"Hm... You would challenge me to fight all the time and I would always win and right after that you would try to kill me, that's all I remember from when we were teenagers."
"Sigh... Can't you ever be romantic?"
Zed smiled as he saw the two talking and quickly bowed to sindar and said:
"Thank you for receiving me, sindar king. My father and I will not forget this."
"Uhum, now sit down, there are two more people to arrive yet."
"Oh? And who are those two people?"
Before sindar could say, lagertha answered:
"My son Galiel and an interesting human you will meet soon."
Suddenly, the door opened again and everyone looked intently at who would appear and To the happiness of some, jacob appeared next to galiel and they together walked to the others.
Zed took a good look at jacob, the human that the queen herself found interesting and reflected:
'So this is the human, but what's so interesting about him? I am clearly stronger and more interesting than he is.'
Galiel stopped in front of his father and bowed to greet him, but to his surprise, jacob did not do the same and sat down in a chair next to rodric.
Everyone present was shocked to realize that jacob had not greeted the king, except for sindar, lagertha and rodric.
Jacob just gave the others a cold look and asked as he looked at lagertha:
"So, what do you want to talk to me about?"
Zed was annoyed to see the human's attitude and disrespect to his future father-in-law and said:
"How dare you not greet the king? Put yourself in your place, human!"
Jacob sighed and looked coldly at sindar and replied:
"Good morning sindar king."
"Uhum, good morning sir voss."
Hearing Jacob say that, an insatiable rage began to take over his mind, but quickly ysabel whispered to him:
"Don't try to confront him."
"What? Where is your pride as a princess?! Are you going to let them disrespect your father?"
"Sigh, I've already been defeated by him..."
Suddenly, zed took a shock in his heart to hear what ysabel had said and lagertha started to say to break that tense atmosphere:
"I wanted to apologize to you mister voss, I really regret for what I put you through.... If I had known you were sick, I would under no circumstances have done that."
"I am not sick and if you want my forgiveness, I hope you will do something for me."
"Hm, as long as your request doesn't cross the line, I will comply."
Jacob was satisfied and asked curiously:
"And Who is this idiot standing?"
Zed was losing his mind and almost starting on Jacob, but ysabel was reassuring him that that wouldn't happen.
Galiel then sat down next to jacob and answered:
"He is my sister's husband and changing the subject.... Are you okay? you were in a critical state yesterday."
"Sigh, I'm fine..."
Jacob looked at zed and reflected:
'Something's wrong... This guy was only supposed to show up in case raphael was here, but raphael isn't here.'
Suddenly, the door opened again and a soldier came rushing in and shouted so that everyone could hear:
"The summoned heroes have come to visit our kingdom!"
The shock inside the room was enormous, even Jacob could not come out of this unscathed. He widened his eyes in shock over that news and thought:
'What is going on?'
