Khai considered their plan of attack, his mind racing with possibilities. If they waited for a rogue to trigger the barrier, they could slip in undetected. Or, if they found an alternate entrance, they could stake out the cave today and prepare themselves to eliminate the rogues within a week. Either way, he was happy they wouldn't need the elves. With a bit of luck, Ana wouldn't need to come along; George could assure her that they had everything under control.
In his mind, there was little to worry about. Khai was confident that he could wipe out the rogues and slay the overlord. He only had to figure out how to notify Arcane to improve their security after the incident. Ana would be safe and sound before she knew it.
His thoughts were interrupted by the others' arrival.
