Chapter 93: Meeting the Guardian of the Lake

Both girls watched in horror as a gigantic snake head poked out of the spirit tree.

The serpent looked almost draconic, with two horns at the back of its head and piercing yellow eyes. Its scales were thick and pointy, its color was of a mixture of blue and light green.

"Ugg…"

The girls were taking out of their trance when they heard the grouting sounds of Siegfried, who was now standing back up. The spear on his hand was completely broken after taking most of the impact.

"Run, you idiots!" He shouted.

The girl did not have to think twice as they started to run in the opposite direction of the lake.

He removed a new spear from his jade ring without the girls noticing and got ready to defend himself.
