章節 16: Bonus
Tera's pov:
I sang my favorite song in my living room as my friends listened or sang along. We were all hanging out bc I recently found out that my parents are divorced and they wanna be there for me. I kinda don't care about the whole no more marriage. But I'd rather not talk about it, out loud at least.
I'm jamming to another song and I've just finished l. Danielle us clapping for me. Then I hear another pair of hands clapping slowly.
Clap.
Clap..
Clap...
"Great job Tera." We all snap our heads towards the arch way from the kitchen. Cassie. "Poor Tera. Sad about her parents, what happened at my house and now you're gonna be sad about me," she starts and we stare at her in shock.
"None of you cared that I 'died'! It was just, 'Aw Cassie's dead, good riddance' not even my mother cared as soon as you came into the picture. Point is you made everything about you! And what's worse is my boyfriend believed Danielle when she said she saw me having sex with Hudson," she put up air quotes on the word sex. "The asshole didn't listen when I said no and Danielle saw it wrong! Everyone sees everything in the wrong way!" She exclaims with tears in eyes.
No one dared to speak. Not gonna lie, I could tell everyone was scared. Why is she here? Couldn't she have done this over text or moved on? "Wait so why were you guys even back there if you didn't like him?" Liam asks, maybe they'll get back together although he likes Maddison now. Everyone looked at her waiting for an answer.
"We were going to surprise Liam because it was our 3 month anniversary. I asked Hudson to help me for a gift because on our 1 month anniversary I could tell you were happy with my gift," she starts crying more. " I didn't know Hudson would do what he did. That's why he helped me fake my death but he was stupid enough to go to jail for me." She smirked and I knew something bad was going to happen.
"So, you want him and not me? I went to fucking jail for you Cassie! I love you!" Hudson snapped and we all looked shocked except Ben, he looked zoned out. "You don't fucking love me! And I hate you! All of you!" She screams and I decide I'll Interfere.
"You can say that all you want but we all hated you first!" I say back, we never really hated her, she just made a bad impression on us all. "Shut the fuck up Tera that's why your dad was married to someone else while being married to you mother." WAIT WHAT?! So that's why they're getting divorced? They told me it was a relationship difference.
"See that's why I know you're lying because they told me they had different expectations in their relationship." She laughed IN MY FACE! "Sweetheart the expectations your mom had was she didn't want her husband having a second family, probably even a third." This bitch just keeps laughing. I'm my face.
I walk up to Cassie and slap her in the face. She doesn't shock and just laughs it off. " I have to go use the bathroom." She goes the wrong way towards the kitchen. "Cassie, where are you going, you're going the wrong way!" I call after her walking into the kitchen. Where the hell did she g- oh there she is.
" Cassie the bathroom- '' SHE STABBED ME! WTF IS WRONG WITH HER. She takes the knife out of my abdomen and I wince in pain. I've never been stabbed before, I've only seen it in the scream movies I watch. She walks over to the sink to clean the knife. That's it she not gonna kill me? Not that I'm asking for it. I decided to crawl away. If it's like anything in the movies I will not have my back turned to her. That's how you die.
I got back to the living room holding the spot where she stabbed me. IT HURTS LIKE HELL! I see Danielle notice me and I cough up some blood. WHY IS IT COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH AND NOT THE WOUND?! "Tera oh my! What happened?! Why are you bleeding?!"
I see Cassie lurking and smiling at me. They need to run before they die. "C-c-Cassie s-st-tabbed me. Y-you n-need to run, now!" She shakes her head. She looks at the others for help. "Hazel, in her bathroom there is some medical kit to help! Go get it!" James comes up to her telling her to sit down. And Liam grabs me out of her hands. He looks at my cut and his expression scares me, I've never seen Liam so scared.
"Guys! Someone called an ambulance! She needs help!" Melody gets the phone and dials 9-1-1. "Hello m-my friend was just stabbed, she needs medical attention!" "In her lower abdomen on the left." "No, she's still standing." "Yes, we have that, I think." "Yes we do before anybody else gets hurt." "Fourteen of us including the stabbed." "Okay, thank you so much!"
I am hanging on as much as I can trying to stay alive. I go over the phone to get something from my jewelry bowl. (Brass knuckles). Cassie comes back holding a sharper knife. She charges at Hudson, cutting him in the arm. Ben and Liam come behind him and restrain her. I punch clean in the face knocking her out. Nathaniel checks on Hudson as Liam checks on me.
"Guys follow me, I have a safe room in my room." Hazel came back with the supplies in her right arm and Cassie stabbed her in her left arm. She ran away with the knife still in her arm up the stairs as we followed Avery on her tail since that's her cousin.
I get to my room and lock the door. "It's in my closet." I say opening the door letting them in first as I hear Cassie coming up the stairs. I lock my closet door and go to the back of the closet. I press a button underneath a counter in my walk in closet. It opens a door that has no handle and a room that has a staircase. "Up the stairs." "Why does it have so many contraptions?" I roll my eyes at Asher's stupid comment. We all go up the stairs, me last as I hear Cassie banging on my door.
I close the secret door and go up the stairs to see another door. I open that door with a pin and it leads us to a room, my second room. "Why is there so much green?" Because it's my second room. Duh.
"Can we just get me and Hazel patched up?" They nod as we sit down in a comfortable chair. Melody has always wanted to be a doctor and has studied the easy things for now like how to sterilize a needle, how to stitch someone up, how to tend to open wounds etc.
She covers our wounds. This room is right next to the attic so when we heard Cassie in that room fear came to us again. We all went back into my room and stupidly decided we'd split up, but hurt can't stay with hurt. Danielle-James Solana-Nathaniel Hudson-Avery Ari-Asher Melody-Hazel Maddison-Liam- Me Ben decided to stay alone.
Me, Maddison and Liam decided to go outside and find help. I was fine until we got to the sidewalk after I heard the ambulances arrive. I fell to the ground and on the grass as Maddison came to check on me, she got pushed out of the way and... everything went black.
