The females looked around the seating room with awe. "So this is the seating room. It is the main room used when guests are over. The cushions are the seats and it's typical to have snacks while females talk," I said. "Aleksi helped me decide on some small things that you might like. I know Asura tend to eat less than humans so." The tongues I caught flicking into the air set me on edge. They all smiled kindly at me though. 

The females quickly sat on a cushion each. "We have to get some of these," Mina exclaimed. Her gaze going to Jiksi. 

"Of course," he said with a smile. Not even questioning her words. That part of my research seemed ture. Even so I found myself staring. It was still odd to me.

"Is something wrong, Ava?" I heard Aleksi ask me. My head turned to look up at him. He was kneeling behind me. His eyes were searching my face. 

"I am still getting used to how easily males of your people go along with what their wives want," I said.
