"What else do you want to hear from me?" Abby gritted her teeth. The only consolation that she had was her baby. Grace had said that the baby was fine. Whatever Elder Rose was trying to do to her, she couldn't go through with it because someone interfered, but where was Liam?

Her heart ached to see him. She wanted to know if he was fine. She had lost Cedric, she couldn't lose him too. The last time she saw him was when she asked for Grace because she was in pain. 

That was all. That was the last time she saw him… and Abby was afraid that would be truly their last moment together. How unfair it was…

"The baby is fine, how can you say that your mother wanted to kill her own granddaughter?" Elder Xarex retorted. 

Abby scoffed. "Did she ever see me as a daughter?"
