Within fifteen days, there were only two letters from the Battlefield and the first letters literally only listed the warriors that had fallen during the battle, informing their family to stop waiting. Their bodies would be buried on site, since it would be too risky to send them back. 

At that time, Iris could only sigh in relief because none of the warriors she was close with, who made it in the list, though her heart went to those warriors, who didn't make it.

Therefore, the second letter that mentioned the progress of the battle made them really happy, because their main goal was to get back the harbor.
