Dhu's voice quivered with a mixture of sadness and longing as he recalled the tales of his homeland. "When I first came into being, our land, no my home, was vibrant with life and brimming with magic," he murmured, his gaze wandering over the surrounding forest. "But then the British came, and everything changed. Hew said that the once-thriving forests were devastated, and the skies that once teemed with magic and life grew dim. I was too young to even remember my thriving home"
As he took in the lush and vibrant forest before him, Dhu felt a pang of bittersweet nostalgia. This was his first encounter with a landscape untouched by the ravages of war and exploitation—a sight that filled him with both wonder and sorrow for what had been lost.
Dhu's voice quivered with emotion as he recounted the atrocities inflicted upon their land by the British. "Hew said that they slaughtered and plundered without mercy, enslaving both humans and magical creatures alike," he explained, his anguish palpable. "With each piece of land they razed and each life they took, our magic dwindled further, until it could scarcely sustain beings like myself." Tears welled in Dhu's eyes as he spoke, the weight of loss and suffering bearing down heavily upon him.
Dhu's words carried a heavy weight as he recounted the plight of the forest's inhabitants. "Countless fairies and spirits faded into nothingness as magic waned," he continued, his voice tinged with sorrow. "Even the mightiest creatures fell to the weapons wielded by humans, these… 'guns' as they called them." His expression softened slightly as he reminisced, "And then came the factories, spewing their poisons and hastening our demise."
Yet, amidst the darkness, Dhu found solace in the ethereal beauty of the moonlight filtering through the canopy above, a glimmer of hope in his mind as he breathed in the fresh and clean air of this new world.
"The sky soon started to turn gray and dark as the sky was filled with smoke. I'm a creature of the forest, yet my very birthplace was ravaged by fire and the axes mere weeks after my birth" he lamented. The only memento of his lost home was a branch, now his staff, a relic of the tree that had nurtured and sheltered him in his infancy. Alex, having returned Dhu's staff during a moment of reconciliation, watched solemnly as Dhu cradled the staff in his hands, a bittersweet smile playing upon his lips.
Dhu's words echoed with a solemn resolve, his grip tightening on his staff as a flicker of anger and determination ignited within him. "There isn't much left to say about my world," he admitted, his voice tinged with a steely determination. "Magic was fading, and with it, the very essence of our existence. I've barely scratched the surface of my own abilities, but I refuse to stand idly by as a new door opens up for me."
As his anger simmered just beneath the surface, Dhu's eyes gleamed with a newfound sense of purpose. He was determined to defy the fate that had befallen his world, to stand as a beacon of hope in the face of darkness, and to ensure that the atrocities inflicted upon his homeland would never be repeated in his new home.
*Somewhere Back in Dhu world, Earth*
As faith dwindled on Earth, so too did the magic that once thrived within its veins. In its place, technology rose to prominence, offering a new source of power and innovation. Yet, this transition was far from seamless.
Dhu's world had long been sustained by the harmony between mortals, the spirits and elementals, and the gods that inhabited it. However, as these ancient beings faded into obscurity, the very foundations of the world began to tremble, threatening to collapse under the weight of their absence.
As the very beings made by the planet to help protect it started to die and disappear. Diseases, famine, natural disasters, and beings of other worlds started to appear soon after.
One of these terrible diseases, the Black Death, wrought havoc upon Europe, leaving devastation in its wake and nearly crumbling entire societies. In its aftermath, famine ravaged the land, compounded by a lack of able-bodied individuals to tend the fields. The situation worsened with the recurring droughts, a consequence of the water spirits' demise long before.
Yet, the impact wasn't confined to Europe alone. As humanity expanded its reach across the globe, plundering resources and waging war wherever they went, the entire planet bore the scars of their actions. The unchecked exploitation of both natural resources and magic destabilized the delicate balance of the world.
As the world languished in decay, its once-vibrant surface succumbing to the ravages of neglect, a dire turn of events unfolded. The planet, like a sick organism, activated its own 'immune system' in a desperate bid for survival.
In the wake of years of decline, natural disasters of catastrophic proportions began to wrack the world: volcanoes erupted with fiery fury, earthquakes shook the very foundations of the earth, and colossal tsunamis swept across the vast oceans. The planet itself deemed that purging its surface was the best way to survive, so it unleashed its fury to cleanse and renew.
Yet, amidst the chaos, the dwindling remnants of magic that remain, well little in terms of a planet, but a large amount of magic coalesced into formidable entities deep below the planet's crust: Demons, born from the very essence of the world's anguish and determination to endure. These creatures, akin to the planet's own 'white blood cells', emerged to confront the threats that beset their dying 'body'.
With some demon's swiftness unmatched by any magical creature, resilience surpassing the hardiest metals forged by dwarven hands, and strength rivaling that of giants, the demons emerged to cleanse the world of its parasitic infestation: humanity.
Arrayed in a myriad of forms and sizes, the demons served as harbingers of the world's vengeance upon its tormentors. Their relentless onslaught sought to purge the planet of the blight that threatened its existence.
Yet, much like a tenacious parasite, humans displayed an uncanny ability to adapt and evolve in the face of adversity. By somehow eating weaker demons, a small amount of the human population were able to awaken powers. Most would die eating demon flesh as their flesh was saturated with large amounts of mana, but by eating the weakest demons.
A remarkable phenomenon occurred: individuals began to awaken dormant powers hidden deep within them. These latent abilities, long forgotten or suppressed, emerged from their bodies thanks to the flesh of the demons.
Still, that wasn't enough. In fact, the convergence of magic and technology proved to be a double-edged sword for humanity. While the resurgence of magic offered newfound avenues for power and potential, its integration with technology brought about unforeseen consequences.
Many settlements were able to grow flora from the once almost barren Earth thanks to magic, and with so many trees and plants making a comeback, so did the spirits and elementals. In fact, many magical beasts were able to come back to life thanks to the level of mana increasing on Earth, in fact more new beasts were born and were stronger than those in the past.
But as humans were able to gather and form massive cities, which were protected and ruled by awakeners, those that awakened their powers. Earth slowly stopped producing demons and went to a semi-dormant state as its body returned to a healthy state.
But there is no happy ending. The struggle for dominance between humanity and the magical beasts escalated into a brutal and relentless conflict, with neither side emerging victorious. As humanity fought to reclaim territory lost to the encroaching creatures, the magical beasts, fueled by their consumption of demon and human flesh, underwent a terrifying evolution. Gradually, they evolved into formidable adversaries, their intelligence and strength rivaling that of humanity itself.
With both sides locked in a bitter struggle for survival, the once-promising hope for a happy ending faded into obscurity. Instead, the world remained mired in a perpetual state of chaos and bloodshed, with no clear resolution in sight. In this harsh and unforgiving reality, the battle for supremacy raged on, each side vying for dominance. Still, life was better for the strong and rich while the weak and poor suffered in their day-to-day life.
All of these events, from Dhu being summoned in the 1600's to humanity growing with magic and technology while fighting magical beasts in the 3000's

Yo thanks for reading, comment on any mistakes I should fix or change.
I'm just trying some world-building while doing lore about Dhu's old world. I just wanted to try some stuff in this chapter. As, maybe in the far or near future, depending on RGN from the wheel and comments I get, Alex may be able to go to other worlds to grow his dungeon even more. Of course, this may be in the far future, who knows?
Of course, imma do something different each time Alex goes to a new world. So if he goes to... let's say to a DC universe, he's forced into a body created by the system, such as Godzilla Earth to a hollow from bleach to a normal barn owl.
These will most likely be the rules I will follow IF we go to new worlds. Comment if I should tweak some rules or if you have some ideas.

He won't be able to switch to other bodies. He can only switch to his base form (The dungeon Core) and the body the system created when he entered the new world. Almost or if not, all of his abilities and passives he gains from one world, can't be used in another world Almost or if not, all of the summons he gains from one world, can't be used in another world All items in Alex's [Inventory] he had gotten from one world, can't be called out in another world Tokens used in one world, can only be used in that world Alex's level is reset back to 1 All rules stated will be disabled once Alex completes some sort of quest.
