Landon stood up first and lifted the chest piece up and motioned for kelly to step forward. Pride filled the Alpha's eyes as he lowered the garment over Kelly's  head. It was the first of many times Kelly would adorn the furred piece of pack history. It was heavy, resting with a solid weight on his shoulders and chest. The furs, though small, were far from light when all connected in such a way. He couldn't imagine how uncomfortable this would be in a few more centuries, when more of furs had been added to it. He grimaced, pitying the poor Alpha who would have to wear it.

"You look like a true Nogard now, son," Landon told him, patting his cheek gently.

  "You'll do great tonight, of that I'm sure."
