Despite being wary due to her previous death, Ilse was currently in a blank state, much like when the gods first descended from heaven—curious about the world, herself, and her children, with a tremendous, piqued interest in the changes around her. This would have made things easier for Orion, as he could gain her protection and trust by being truthful and satiating her curiosity.
