Liang Xun observed Jing Yao's face and saw that her eyes were red. He frowned and said, "Didn't I say that it's all old news and that you don't have to care?"
Jing Yao hummed softly and placed the things back into the document bag and handed it to Liang Xun. "I don't mind. I just had some mixed feelings. I wonder what Zhang Li will think when she sees this?"
Liang Xun casually threw the document bag aside and pulled Jing Yao to sit on the sofa beside him. Then, he opened a cabinet and took out a bag of plums. He tore it open and handed a plum to her.
"She caused her current state. No matter what the reason is, it's unforgivable for her to treat her biological daughter like this," Liang Xun said calmly.
He didn't pity Zhang Li at all. Thinking of what Jing Yao had suffered in the past, Zhang Li reaped what she sowed.
Jing Yao took over the plum in surprise. She liked these snacks the most recently. They were sour, sweet, and especially delicious.
