章節 38: The Countess: Alcina Dimitrescu I

Upon witnessing her full pink eyes which flickered together with her existence all over the place, Alucard knew what exactly was going on.

He approached her step by step as her pink-shacking eyes never stopped looking at him with fear for her life and hope... even as she grunted in apparent pain, not understanding what was happening to her.

Omnipresence was a very troublesome power to have, a curse even worse than being a Nosferatu.

His cold pink eyes looked down at her situation as his mind reminiscence a particular event taking place hundreds of years ago.

...

In front of him lay a bloody blonde policewoman, her blue eyes shook as she glanced at him.

"Do you want to die as a human or live as a creature of hell, a Vampire?" He had offered back then, and a very similar situation presented itself before him now. But the circumstances were different, as well as his mentality. Almost a thousand years were long enough to change even an immortal.

"…I-I want to l-live" That was the blonde's stuttering answer, this prompted him to bite on her neck; changing her life.

...

"Do you want to die? or live eternally as a monster, with the possibility of eventually dying?" He asked with a desolate vision that shook her soul deeply.

Now that she had his omnipresence, there was no going back for her.

If he didn't give her his blood now, she would be 'nowhere' for as long as she couldn't recognise herself, the problem was, she would be conscious of everything else except herself.

A lonely eternal and self-imposed prison for an existence.

It had taken him thirty years to get out of that state with all the experience he had regarding consciousness. Whether it would take her a day, a year or an eternity to accomplish that, he didn't know.

'I want to live!' He heard her resolute voice mentally as she wasn't even able to speak at this point.

He sighed at her choice but eventually nodded, crouching down in front of her, he offered his neck.

Upon witnessing it, the towering lady didn't even think for a second before her fangs were already sinking deeply into his neck!

Her whole body towered over him and pushed him to the ground like a vagrant in the desert upon witnessing the oasis, her fangs crushed his bones, hoping to draw a better blood flow.

*SLURP!!*

She sucked his blood like a ripe coconut, but her existence didn't stop flickering, however, she didn't disappear either... Stagnant between two states of existence, just like Schrödinger's cat.

"Focus on the taste of my blood, the way you perceive it, the way it enters your mouth, the way it tastes… And forget everything else, ignore everything else." He said, as long as she didn't disappear, this issue could be easily solved even if it took time.

'It's too delicious…' He heard her answer back within his mind with her alluring voice.

For the next three hours, she sucked his blood relentlessly and eventually, her existence stopped flickering slightly.

"Now, as you suck my blood, tell me? What can you feel?" This was a complicated process that he had to go through by himself.

The truth no one knew, was that out of those thirty years, it only took him two years to kill all the millions of souls within his shadow even as his own existence pained him.

The remaining twenty-eight years were spent trying to comprehend how to at least remove the state of being 'nowhere'.

'I can feel everything… It's muffled, but I can sense everything, It's like an unlimited amount of information constantly rushing in my brain, it hurt so much! But now it is more bearable, as I keep focusing on your blood, Master.'

"It is bearable because you're focusing on my blood instead of that information, keep doing that. Tell me, how many souls did you take?" He asked casually but she actually panicked upon hearing that!

'I-I only took a hundred and ten, Master! I didn't know-!' Suddenly, her thoughts moved towards those souls and once again, her existence started to flicker.

"Calm down, don't stop sucking my blood… This will be harder since there are many souls, but nothing can be done about it… I want you to gradually stop focusing on my blood, release me if necessary and concentrate all your senses within a very small range, start with one metre around your mind and try to focus on everything you sense within that metre, once you have recognised each one, muffle them, don't pay attention to them..." Alucard didn't mind her calling him Master, that was something they could discuss later.

'I-It's hard to focus when your blood overflows my mind… I'll release, Master.' She sent back with a stutter.

She slowly released her fangs from his neck, licking her bloody lips and lifted up her gaze to look at his eyes.

At that moment her hands clenched the sand below and her teeth almost broke with how hard she gritted them... The thoughts came back like a vengeance!

...

The sea, fish, seaplanes, hydrogen, oxygen.

Insects, animals and their organs, their small moving cells.

Every single grain of sand, wind and its composition, the currents.

The moon, the moonlight, photons.

Space, gravitons, unknown energies and unknown small particles she didn't know what they were!

Memories of the souls she had swallowed, their pain, their grief, their happiness and so much more!

...

Everything came into her mind at the same time and without even waiting one second she bit him again!

'Master, it's too hard! I can't!' She screamed in his mind, a part of her felt ashamed and the other felt fear.

It was like being inside the deepest pit of the ocean with only a small straw to take oxygen from... Knowing that eventually, the air would stop flowing...

"Let's try one more time"

Alucard sighed and embraced her slim waistline, this would be a long lesson…

**

**

It took her a whole day to be able to process everything within one square metre from her mind… Which to Alucard was a miracle in itself, considering it took him a whole year to accomplish this, but then again... He didn't have any leads or guidance. Only trial and error.

After successfully muffling elemental particles, every single grain of sand and a lot of other things, she managed to focus only on her own self.

Alucard was now standing up again as the mature beauty panted softly while sitting on her legs.

She shot him a glance afterwards, her figure so tall that by sitting alluringly on the sand she was almost as tall as him.

"Thank you, Master. I feel much better…" Her voice was still weak, indicating that she still needed to rest and train on controlling her new power.

"…"

Alucard only glanced at her straight with his now red eyes, not knowing what to do about her…

Feeling his gaze she heaved a deep sigh as her massive chest rose and she changed her position until she was kneeling with one knee in front of him.

"My name is Alcina Dimitrescu, Countess of Transilvania, Head of the Dimitrescu Family. Or at least, that's what I used to be…" She declared deeply with her head down, not minding at all her nudity, after witnessing some of his memories, she could more or less know what kind of person he was.

"Please, let me follow you from now on and acknowledge you as my Master." She finally declared and awaited his answer.

Alucard hunched back with furrowed brows, and 'sat' on nothing… Crossed his legs and took his favourite cup of wine from his shadow.

But the moment he tried to grab the cup.

*BREAK*

The crystal cup broke into dozens of pieces with but a slight grasp…

Alucard looked at all this unsurprised, 'I have to analyse how strong I have become after getting that 'cultivation' thing'

Moreover, she was the same, it wasn't only souls that she took from him…

"I accept you as my Draculine… But I want to know your reasons. You sucked my blood and saw whatever you could from my memories… You know how I treat traitors. Don't think because you're an abstract existence just like me, I won't be able to punish you…" He said, forsaking the idea to drink his wine and opting for crossing his arms.

The Count's eyes turned red with life threat, he already had Catherine and now there was this Alcina… He could have rejected her, but he saw something in her that he didn't see in Catherine…

Potential.

Upon seeing his threatening gaze and hearing his question, Countess Dimitrescu clenched her hands harshly.

"I wouldn't dare, Master. I choose to follow you because not only you saved me from that disgusting fate that damned bastard put me in... But you also gave me a new body, a better body." The moment she remembered the way she perished she almost wanted to die of shame.

How could that weakling possibly kill her? the mighty countess!?

Deciding to forsake the past and move on, she continued with a major resolution, drawing up her gaze until it met his "But I also saw some of your memories, and can't help but be deeply moved by your story and life Master… I genuinely want to follow you and become that strong! Strong enough to have everyone bow before me! Strong enough that human and even god concepts and beliefs don't apply to me!"

"I believe this is an opportunity of multiple lifetimes and don't want to waste it. Therefore, please let me follow you." She asked once again and lowered her gaze.

Her house fell because she was weak and inexperienced… Underestimating her enemy time and time again… Being used by people she believed were at least loyal.

This cost her everything she worked so hard for, her daughters' lives and her very own life… If her Master hadn't come, she might have stayed like that forever.

The countess wouldn't ever repeat that same mistake again!

"Very well, as I said, I accept your pledge Alcina… Use your shadow and wear something… We are leaving." He said and stood up, waiting for her to transform her shadow into clothes first.

As she had a hundred of his souls inside of herself, she could be considered a Bonafide Nosferatu, unlike Catherine.

Alcina smiled wearily, "I deeply apologise, Master, I'm still focusing on my surroundings and don't think I'll be able to use that power just yet, could we stay here for some time?"

Alucard nodded in understanding, "Then we will stay here until you're at least able to move about normally. Focus on your own existence and muffle everything else by layers."

Alcina nodded and got into her own world.

As for Alucard, he remained on his 'seat'.

'Let's see what's the harvest~'
