The world decided to leave common sense aside, and imagine an excuse that could give them some sense of relief and security regarding the events that took place two days ago.
Needless to say, politicians and high executive officers would take advantage of humanity's naivety to hide their own agendas.

With such rivals lurking at their doors from every corner, it was logical that an efficient and hidden force was needed to cope with the foreign threat to their inner politics and military integrity.
That was the Yellow Flame Iron Brigade.
Founded hundreds of years ago with its renowned first Dragon Team, the Yellow Brigade was a group of hidden corps whose strength didn't rely merely on guns.
They were also cultivators and their job was to secure Chinese integrity as a nation.
Yet… They weren't able to accomplish this endeavour in the slightest two days ago.
No, they were forced to 'see' through recordings, not even personally, how a little girl and a beautiful woman, both of unknown origin and identity used powers that even for them cultivators were nothing less of 'fantastic'
The current leader of the brigade, Lin Zhiguo, looked at the report and data collected by the current Dragon Team during the last two days they spent in Zhonghai.

Nothing makes sense. What exactly is that little girl!?
He would never remember the report he got from Commander Yang yesterday...
"We have identified two of the involved individuals. The Gods of Olympus, Athena and Hades. The identity of that little girl is unknown…" Those were the words pronounced the Commander General Yang Gongming, Head of the Yang Clan, reporting what his servant managed to get out of this situation.
His voice sounded even more aged when he mentioned 'Hades' for some reason.
Never in his old life had he ever witnessed anything so horrifying.
Two great Gods of Olympus were totally manhandled by an unknown little girl, moreover, one of them was left on the brink of death.
The images recorded by people, where the man got almost instantaneously pierced by a gigantic lance coming from the ground, were totally stunning and unforgettable not only for them but even for the spectators and cybernauts that were able to preserve the recording.
They couldn't hide the truth forever...
And there was even a worse situation going on…
"There are three elders from Hongmeng missing, they are not back in Xinjiang after leaving to investigate the aura of the gods. This matter is now a global security alert, Zhiguo… Anything you see, hear or research about that little girl, I want to know, from now on you respond to Yuncheng."
He hasn't heard back from Commander Yang ever since.
"What do you think we should do Leader? This matter is totally out of our scope." Behind him stood three individuals. Flower Rain, one of the strongest members of the brigade, asked him as her silver hair waved slightly.
She had believed herself to be within the elite of this country and at least high up the pedestal when it came to the whole world, but what she saw yesterday was an authentic eye-opener.
Just yesterday she came to know that those individuals were gods… That God actually existed.
The existence of the Gods and Hongmeng was a secret that only the most prestigious Clan Heads could know, not even all of them.
But this matter got out of hand and therefore, the information was delivered to them so they could be prepared for what lies on the other side.
The power of the Gods was outrageous. But if they're monsters, then she's the proverbial bigger monster...
"Nothing… We can't do anything. Continue researching about her, any camera, any wisp of her existence and work together with the IT department to establish algorithms that can identify her. If she ever appears within Chinese territory and talks with a beggar, I want to know firsthand!"
A threat capable of subverting global security was roaming out there freely without them having the slightest bit of intel on it besides her physical appearance…
The eyes of all secret organisations across the world were in China as the main culprit of what had been called the 'big one'. A massive earthquake hit the bottom of the pacific ocean.
Lin Zhiguo couldn't help but curse the hell out of that little girl and the gods in his mind!
'Of all places to fight! You had to choose China!?'

Above the chaotic city of Zhonghai, two Hunter jets could be seen flying high above in the sky leaving sonic booms as they scouted the area.
*FIUSH!!*
The two jets kept flying rounds after round above the city… Looking for any wisp of the 'UFO' and have been doing so for the last two days.
Hours of searching didn't throw any positive results and they flew away.

*RUMBLE!*
Soft spatial waves spread through the area a minute afterwards as a figure materialised.
An older white-robed woman appeared out of a spatial wave glancing around softly, looking for something…
Her long raven greyish hair reached down to her back as it waved due to the wind currents of Zhonghai.
Her graceful expression regarded the clouds around her. Her expression concealed beneath the shades of time could only describe what used to be a ravishing woman.
*RING!*
A noise not very befitting of her presence resounded, and from within a spatial wave, she took out a communicator.
*GACHA.*
"Sanniang, have you found anything?" An elderly voice revered by the communicator, the same voice that had spoken to Lin Zhiguo before.
"No, Master. There is no trace of that little girl, the hunters have retreated." She answered with her graceful voice.
"…What about Yang Chen, do you know… If he lives?" The older man, Yang Gongming, asked with apprehension from the other side of the phone, fearing the answer.
"… No. he hasn't appeared back here, his girlfriend here in Zhonghai is also worried and hasn't heard from him in two days" She answered casually also feeling bad about all this.
"I see… We can only pray to whatever God is willing to hear us… You can come back, Sanniang." Having said that, the head of the Yang Clan closed the communication.
The woman sighed at how troublesome this whole situation was.
Down below, the noise of ambulances, police, military forces and more, still rang furiously as the public services tried to support and help those that were affected by the 'earthquake'.
With another space fluctuation, she leapt back to Beijing where the Yang Clan's main compound was located.

Two days ago, somewhere at the South Pole.
*RUMBLE!!*
A spatial fluctuation cracked the space within a snowstorm, indicating the arrival of three individuals.
Out of nowhere, a woman, a man, and… the remains of another man? regardless they fell on the cold snow.
Poseidon clutched his shoulder in pain, feeling as though his skin was burning right inside the wound!
"UGH!! W-What is that monster, Athena!?" He billowed, wanting an answer to what the fuck was it that he just saw!
Athena who had by now thrown the wounded Yang Chen away from danger, slumped on the snow breathing roughly. Every single one of her thoughts filled with that monster's visage and the relief that came with his absence.
Hades lay unconscious beside her, his torso regenerating visibly.
He was still alive and kicking...
"Athena!?"
"I don't know!" She shouted back in irritation. She didn't know what he was!
"How can a little girl be such a monster and where was she all this while!? What did you do to anger her to the point of pursuing you like that!?" Poseidon's shoulder started to regenerate as well after a minute.
It was then that Athena remembered, she was the only one that knew his identity… And not only that, but she was also the only one that 'knew' his power.
Or the little she could learn about it.
'What should I do? We can't kill him… it's better to not antagonise him for now.'
"I only encountered her casually during a certain endeavour of mine, I don't know who she is or what she is, I only know that she's dangerous and very likely still alive after that attack of yours, in fact, she shouldn't even be wounded..." She asserted, deciding to keep the Gods out of this. If they knew the man's identity, they would all surely have their own agendas about him...
It wouldn't be the 'let's join to kill him' situation, let alone, that would likely be useless, there was only one solution they could use to defeat him, but she wasn't even sure if that formation would work on him.
*RUMBLE!*
At that moment, another figure appeared out of nowhere, it was a beautiful woman in a white dress with a jacket, her light auburn long hair gently moved by the snowy wind.
"Hades…" Upon seeing Hades' complexion she hurriedly got close to him, relieved when she saw he was alive.
"What the fuck happened!?" She asked, looking for answers right that instant!
*RUMBLE!*
Another spatial wave, and another newcomer, no, two newcomers.
A girl and a young man, both of them with golden hair and ruby eyes.
"Calm down Aphrodite, actually no. Don't calm down, panic! panic intensely! There is a fucking monster out there that survived my strongest attack! And even managed to pierce my divine body!" Poseidon billowed, clearly having lost his composure!
Aphrodite gaped not only at the revelation but also at Poseidon's sudden outburst.
It was hard for the older god to lose himself like that! Even in a hundred years.
'It must have been really serious...'
"What are you talking about Poseidon? Something managed to injure you!?" The golden-haired girl asked, hardly believing what he said.
Survive his most powerful attack?!
Out of all of the Gods, Poseidon was the strongest one awake, at least until Athena recovered her powers completely as she only recently woke up from reincarnation, Nethersea Grief could send any of them into reincarnation!
"If you don't know who she is, then I forbid any of you from engaging with her, I'll send my memories to you of the events that just took place..." Poseidon sighed and stood up.
He focused and transmitted an image to all the awoken gods, being the strongest one, only he had the capacity to send those messages to them regardless of distance. There was also Hermes... But he had yet to wake up.
"If seen, flee on sight. We have to wait until either Zeus or Hera wakes up, try to recover your powers as fast as possible Athena. We shouldn't have problems with Hongmeng as it is very clear this is a threat for both parties." Poseidon sent them the image of the 'little girl' and not wanting to stay here further, he disappeared in a spatial wave…
"I'll take care of Hades until he wakes up", Aphrodite said and left in a spatial wave together with Yang Chen.
Leaving only the trio of golden-haired gods.
"Apollo, Artemis… You can leave as well… You heard him, don't engage if you manage to contact her, flee… and if a meeting is imminent, don't show any kind of relationship with me or Hades, we're being hunted down by her." She said lightly as the raging snow covered their bodies.
The golden-haired God, Apollo, furrowed his brows as his eyes shone, "I know you're hiding something, Athena… I only hope that it won't go against our plans" Having said that he disappeared together with the Hunting Goddess in a spatial sphere.
Athena grit her teeth, "I'm doing everything for the sake of the plan..."
She stayed in this snowstorm for a while thinking about her options…
Did Vlad Tepes know her other identity? If that was the case, going back to China was impossible.
Also, How did he know of her identity as Athena?
Her most confident theory was that just like them, he is an immortal that had been hiding for ages and managed to recognise her due to her legendary war goddess spear, after all, he said her name only after she used it…
Then there was his enmity with Hades to which she had no idea what happened between them.
Athena stood up, grabbing the bridge of her nose in irritation, 'I need to perform a prophecy… Can't deal with him without it.'
But then again, she needed her full power to perform a prophecy again… And her last one told her nothing about him.
The more she mulled it over, the more she convinced herself that going to that bastard's office was the biggest mistake within her multiple reincarnations…
Waving her hand a mysterious item materialised in her hand… It was a black ancient helmet, 'Should have enough energy to use it now…'
This was the only resource she could rely on to hide from him…
She placed it on her head softly and disappeared from the vastness of this world as if she never existed from the beginning.
