章節 21: Hermes' Brewings Rocks the Industry I

"I want you to schedule a month-long campaign on a Chinese liquor company called Hermes' Bird Brewings, do you understand?" The CEO of one of America's biggest broadcast channels spoke with twitching eyebrows, not believing that he would have to repay a favour back in this manner.
'Damn you Reng Shuang! I won't owe you anything after this!' He cursed inwardly and promised to never ask that bastard for any 'favours' again.
"Boss, are you mad? We're currently under the Super Bowl transmission campaign, how are we going to move it away for a Chinese company?!" A slender woman shouted in outrage, this was simply insane!
"Then I want you to advertise their company during the Super Bowl campaign, do whatever it takes, but I want that company to be in everyone's mouth, believe me on this. Charles, I need you to use 25% of our passive income to get stocks of that company, no matter the price..." The CEO ordered his economic department head.
'If I'll have to do this then at least I'll take advantage of it', how could he not notice the Chinese broadcasting channel movements? he had his contacts as well...
'Reng Shuang what exactly are you plotting with that liquor business...' He wondered.

When it was almost one o'clock past midnight, the shadow merged back into one place, showcasing Alucard's panting body.
His eyes shook madly looking sideways, up, down, everywhere!
He grits his teeth hard to the point they cracked and steps forward, walking back to Catherine's place with long strides.
Just as he was thriving to walk, his body disappeared...
Just like that, it disappeared, only to appear once again out of nowhere, in the grassland in Germany, with heavy pants as he fell on his knees!
'I-I need blood! C-Cat-therine!' he mumbled inwardly but his thoughts weren't transmitted!
Struggling up, he continued his walk
It took Alucarda whole half an hour in which he disappeared twice, not leaving a trace before he reached Catherine's chambers!
The Queen of Wales had been sitting on her luxurious bed with a white robe, waiting for her lover as she saw the news on her phone.
'What in the bloody fuck...' Were her inner thoughts the moment she saw the news, this didn't make sense.
Her lover's name was all over the news!? Not being as stupid as she appeared to many people, she quickly understood that this must have been his doing, she wanted to contact him, but he told her not to and she didn't want to appear invasive..
'Should I tell Edward to advertise his company with the BBC?' she thought only to hear a loud *thud* when her lover fell on the floor out of nowhere, panting heavily.
"Alucard? ALUCARD!" The moment she saw him like that her heart panicked, what is going on!?
Hurriedly hugging him she held him in her arms, noticing that she almost 'phased' through him.
"Dear, what's happening!? tell me!" She asked in fear, having never seen him like that, it didn't even cross through her mind that her vampire lover could ever fall to such a state!
"B-Blood" He said, very weakly and Catherine caught it right away!
Not even caring about the pain, she bit her wrist hard, so desperately that she took a big chunk of her wrist as blood sprayed everywhere before she put it right on his mouth!
"Drink!" technically forcing her bloody wrist on his mouth, she moved back and forth as if she was holding a baby... Doing anything she thought could make him feel better.
Alucard sucked her bloody greedily and after a few minutes, he gained a little more control of himself and technically bit her whole hand!
"HMN!" Catherine grunted a little in pain but held it back as he nearly crushed her hand with his jaws, desperately sucking her blood, faster than ever before.
Alucard moved along, desperately seeking her blood until he bit her neck, the perfect place to take blood from!
Catherine said nothing and just kept hugging him as her mind became more and more muddled, the speed at which he was sucking her blood was simply mental.
An hour later Alucard finally regained his bearings, releasing Catherine, only for the latter to fall on him with a pale countenance, she had fainted...
The count hugged his Queen's body with a sigh, 'That was something reckless I did back there, to think I wouldn't be able to recognise myself afterwards' he carried her lightweight body like a princess to the bed and lie her down, caressing her soft cheeks slightly, she had really saved him a lot of trouble this time.
He didn't need blood to replenish himself, what he needed was something to remember himself... And that something he chose was his perceived taste in her blood. The only thing he 'owned' in this world.
After spreading his consciousness in millions of pieces, and using them simultaneously, it gradually caused a huge strain on his soul, losing his capacity to recognise himself and thus, being 'nowhere'. It was only through his experience, having gone through this same process before, that he was able to come back here and get Catherine's blood.
He gave her a deep kiss and embraced her body. Yes... She was his, she was the only thing he had in this world, at least for now.
As always, he didn't manage to sleep, but Catherine's body in his embrace gave him an odd sense of comfort that he hadn't felt in a very, very long time.
