Her parents came back home today, and the last thing she needed right now was for them to know that their precious only daughter talked with a creep, that she had no idea who he was, in the middle of the night. Fortunately, their bedroom was on the other side of the house, the farthest from the backyard so, the chances of them waking up from all the noise were low. /"You scared me to death./"

Jake was wearing a dark hoodie again. It covered half of his face and all Ryder could see, be there a working light bulb or not, were just a fair skinned chin and two pink lips like two soft petals of a rose.
