The new guy is weird

I went to get a breakfast sandwich and a latte at the bakery. I walked into the place and over to the counter as I saw the guy who winked at me working. Great, that is my luck.

/"Yo, can I help you?/" The guy asked.

I looked at the guy’s name tag. /"Sam?/" I asked.

/"The last time I checked,/" Sam said.

/"Aren’t you the guy that winked at me at the bookstore?/" I questioned.

/"Are you seeing things?/" Sam asked me, arching an eyebrow.

I distorted my face, looking at Sam.

/"Why do you look like you had a bad chicken?/" Sam asked me.

/"I’m trying to figure you out,/" I replied.

/"I thought I smelled something burning,/" Sam remarked.

I narrowed my eyes and pursed my lips. Sam took his finger and poked me in the forehead.

/"Didn’t anyone tell you that you can get wrinkles that way?/" Sam asked me.

I slapped his hand away from my face.
