Chapter 300: Encounter with an Empress
"This is bad…" She had just realized what the problem was.
She placed that bag on her back after getting off the ship. But she has been fighting a lot since then, and her fighting style requires her to transform her entire body.
However, the bag did not have the ability to remain stuck to her body in those circumstances.
"Mmm…when did I last saw that bag?..."
If she had to guess, that would be the mirror world.
"Well, I'm not getting that one back. Let's go with plan B then."
Vivi walked to the poneglyph rock, knelt down, and lifted it up.
"Ahhh….this is freaking heavy!" She didn't know what kind of rock it was made of but it weighed as much as if it was made of iron.
"Uh oh…" She felt a bursting overwhelming aura getting closer at a ridiculous speed.
The doors were already open but Big Mom still felt the need to destroy them, along with the entire wall as she made her entrance.
The Empress moved her eyes around, scanning the library.
The place has been wrecked and flooded, making most of the books useless by now.
She caught no sight of her daughters but she did spot Vivi carrying the red poneglyph on her shoulder.
"What do you think you are doing?!" The Empress yelled with pure rage.
'Okay…think of a plan, how do I get out of here?'
"Hold on…this is not what it looks like!" Vivi shouted.
"Momma!" Tamago came running to her. He looked like a chicken now.
"This woman is not just a thief! she is also a murderer, she killed your daughters!"
Mom made a disgusted face.
"Huh?, why should I care for those useless brats? I have dozens of children, and I do care not for the ones who can't do their job properly!. Smoothie was supposed to be guarding this place, and especially my Poneglyph."
She approached the terrified Baron Tamago.
"And you were supposed to help!" She slapped him so hard that he went through the back wall and disappeared.
Vivi was not sure if he could survive that one.
'Wait…' She looked back at the hole left by Tamago. It wasn't big enough for her to pass but she could make it a bit bigger…
Vivi got to work immediately. She created two clones, this was as much as she could muster at the moment.
One clone went to distract Big Mom while the other went to work in creating an exist.
'There can't be too many walls until I reach the exterior. It will be faster this way rather than trying to venture into that maze-like chateau again.
"Zeus!" Big Mom called, and a fluffy cloud with a hat appeared at her side.
"Get rid of this pest for me!"
"Whoa, hold on!. Electricity is not allowed!" The first clone exclaimed.
"Guys, hurry up, I don't know what you want me to do?!".
The second clone, who was punching the hole to make it bigger, turned back.
"I'm hurrying already!. Stop complaining and gain some time!"
"I want to see you here!". Clone 1 shouted.
"Why am I arguing with myself?" Vivi holding the giant rock wondered if this was a side effect of her soul exhaustion. Her soul felt a bit strange a the moment.
"Alright…there goes nothing !....water gatling!" Clone 1 started to shoot water bullets at the approaching cloud.
But these didn't seem to have much effect. Maybe she could create the ice ones, but she was a bit short on materials at the moment.
A loud noise of rocks crumbling could be heard on the back.
"Yes!, I di-…ohh shit!" Clone 2 exclaimed.
"What's wrong?" Vivi asked.
"Wait don't answer that…I already know. There is another wall." She almost forgot they were sharing the same mind.
"I'm tired of this, get out of my way!" Big Mom unsheathed her sword and attempted to cleave Clone 1 in half.
Clone1 still had her speed mostly intact so she was able to dodge it and answer with a barrage of water bullets that seemed to mostly just annoy Big Mom.
Vivi looked towards Clone 2 working on that wall.
"We don't have much time…okay, move aside!"
She ran at the wall with the poneglyph in hand.
"Wait, what are you…right…" Clone 2 realized as her body was squeezed between the poneglyph and the wall.
"Crack!"
"Yes!, one more!" Vivi moved the giant rock and bashed it again. This time the second wall broke completely, revealing the beautiful outside.
"Ahhh!" Clone 1 yelled as she was electrocuted by Zeus.
Vivi hurried to reform Clone 2 before escaping.
When Big Mom reached the broken wall, she found a 'Vivi' waiting for her.
"Where is the Poneglyph?!" Big Mom demanded to know.
Clone 2 smirked.
"Wouldn't you like to know?".
"I don't have time for your games!" She lifted her sword up.
"Whoa!, wait… tell you!. She went that way!" Clone 2 pointed in the opposite direction.
"Don't listen to her, Momma!." Spoke the sword.
"Yeah…this one is not the real one either. She is just trying to make us waste time while she escapes." The hat said.
Big Mom got closer to the clone.
"That's strange…I can definitely feel a soul in there. Could she have an ability like mine?" She wondered.
"It doesn't matter now. I'll have time to analyze you once I capture the real one."
Meanwhile, the real Vivi was running as fast as she could towards their friends.
It was hard but she could at least tell in which direction they were.
She saw a town in the distance, and right before the town were several carriages.
"There they are!"
